Brooke Allison, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
It’s amazing how one conversation with one person can change everything for you. I started my first business in the fall of 2014 which opened my eyes to what being my own boss really looked like. I loved the vision, the flexibility, and the confidence I felt when I told people I ran a business at 22 years old. For the next few years, I hustled and struggled financially. I worked 3-4 part-time jobs on top of the business to make ends meet and I still couldn’t pay all of my bills. Fast forward to the summer of 2017 when I met this woman who talked to me about a few entrepreneurial groups online that she invited me to. From there I learned of the Coaching World and I fell in love. I remember thinking “I would be so good at this” and I took that thought not allowing any negative thinking or fears to tear me down and I just went for it!
I always knew I was meant for more I just wasn’t in the container (in my first business) that would allow me the financial freedom and control I desired. I officially started Brooke Allison Coaching® in July of 2017 with a $5,000 investment and generated my first 6 figure year in 2018. From there the business has generated over $1,000,000+ and has supported thousands of entrepreneurs in over 15 countries.
As for coming up with this specific idea, I originally supported women with confidence but quickly shifted my niche to serve a bigger problem. So many people desire to have the freedom, impact, and income to leave their job, travel more, be home with their family, and provide at a higher level, all while earning a 6 figure + income. I already had 4 years of business experience as well as psychology experience to support people strategically and mentally. As long as you can continue to solve problems, you will continue to make money. Starting this business was a no-brainer decision. I didn’t think about it, I took action, I hired a mentor, and I made it happen because truthfully I had no other choice.

Now that sounds like a fluffy-easy-going journey, however, I mentioned obstacles for a reason. I believe that the obstacles you go through don’t define you, they are lessons learned and growth opportunities for you to create who you want to be. In 2015 after moving across the country, I found the courage to leave my abusive relationship, rebuilt my confidence from feeling completely worthless, and started this business while on food assistance and barely bringing in enough income to pay my bills. Anything is possible! I went from making $8k in a year to generating over $1,000,000+ within a few years!
I care about my clients’ results and that shows through their success and mine. Most of my clients join small group or private coaching containers to receive a personalized approach using my CCM Method (Consistent Clients & Money Method). There are a million ways to make a million dollars, I help you find your unique way that aligns with your core values.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Social media is an amazing way to gain clients as an entrepreneur in fact there are over 4.9 billion people using social media which is how you can build a successful international business within days. To attract them, you have to get into the mind of your consumer. Your client is already following brands, people, online groups, hashtags, products, etc. Once you figure out that list you can leverage audiences that already exist by showing up as the expert in that area on social media. You have to ask yourself, where can I go and how can I show up in front of my target market to solve the biggest painful problem they have?
You can use online groups, collaborations, looking directly into people’s following, and PR, there are so many ways to grow online and so many opportunities. There is no reason why you couldn’t grow by 100-500 leads per week with how many people there are on social media.
For my business specifically, I have used a combination of Facebook groups, Instagram, Collaborations, Speaking events, podcasts, free online resources, etc. to grow my audience to over 30,000 and growing.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Consistency and social proof. You have to be consistent in your positioning as well as strategically growing, nurturing, and selling each day. Of course, having your own business you can have flexibility and social media has so many resources to schedule your content allowing you to have days off.
I have a very strategic daily, weekly, and monthly to-do list that allows me to consistently connect and attract my ideal clients and close them because my offers are what they are looking for. This is what happens when you know the strategy behind generating clients on demand.
The other thing that helps build a great reputation is social proof. It’s not enough to tell someone you can help them. It’s more powerful to show them visually and to have examples of clients and other customers who have been through the process and have seen success. This gives others the peace of mind and confidence that you/your offer can help them. It also alleviates a lot of objections in the sales process.
