We recently connected with Brittney Tollinchi and have shared our conversation below.
Brittney, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start big picture – what are some of biggest trends you are seeing in your industry?
I’m seeing a big push for in-person events in the coaching industry right now. While folks still seem to gravitate towards the virtual masterminds and coaching programs for hands-on and more complete transformations, there is high demand to get everyone back together in person for even 1 day conferences to connect, ideate, and inspire by “getting in the room together.”
Coming together in person is a wonderful way to meet new, like-minded, individuals to expand networks of people passionate about personal growth and learning. One of the pitfalls that I’m already seeing coaches and event organizers having to navigate is that hosting in-person events often drives up the costs for both participants and hosts. Its a beautiful balance of learning how to deliver impact while also keeping ticket prices affordable, understanding the ROI, and still being able to turn a profit.
People are craving authentic connection and these events popping up all over is one way to do that. I, myself, am booked for several in-person events across the country this year and the excitement is palpable!

Brittney, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Thank you so much for this opportunity to share my story!
I’m Brittney Tollinchi—Purpose Warrior, Best Selling Author, Podcast Host, Speaker, Coach and a passionate advocate for helping people live and build purpose-driven lives and businesses. My journey here is one I cherish because it’s a reflection of both fulfillment and a calling to something even greater.
I spent years thriving in the corporate world, building a career that I genuinely loved. I was fulfilled, challenged, and grateful for the experiences and growth I gained. BUT at some point, I realized there was a different purpose I was being called into—a chance to step outside the comfort of the corporate box and help others unlock their full potential, realign with their values, and create businesses and lives rooted in purpose. I knew I could take the tools, strategies, and lessons I had learned and use them to guide others on their own transformative journeys.
What I do today is all about helping people step into their greatness by creating purpose-driven businesses and leading purpose-driven lives.
• Through coaching, I work one-on-one with clients to help them start and scale purpose-aligned businesses that reflect their deepest passions, while also ensuring they maintain balance and fulfillment in their personal lives.
• My podcast, “Unjuggle the Struggle,” speaks to the challenges of balancing life, work, and dreams. It’s a mix of relatable stories, actionable tools, and moments of reflection to help listeners reclaim control and create space for growth.
• I offer a mini-video series, “7 Steps to Your Confident Quit,” for professionals preparing to leave corporate roles and transition into careers that align with their purpose.
• Through my workshops, writing, and speaking engagements, I guide people in redefining success, reconnecting to their authentic selves, and building a life and business that feels meaningful.
The core problem I solve is alignment. Many of the people I work with feel like they’re doing “all the things” but still aren’t fully connected to what matters most to them. Whether they’re stuck in corporate roles, running businesses that lack focus, or feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, I help them clarify their vision, connect with their “why,” and take intentional steps to create businesses and lives filled with purpose, freedom, and joy.
What sets me apart is my ability to blend strategy and heart. I’m not just a coach or a guide—I’m someone who deeply understands the intersection of purpose, growth, and practicality. I’ve walked this path, and I know how to combine actionable strategies with the mindset shifts needed for lasting transformation. My approach is deeply personal, grounded in faith, and infused with an energy that helps people feel inspired and capable of making bold moves.
What I’m most proud of is the transformation I get to witness in my clients and community. It’s incredibly rewarding to see someone step into their purpose—whether that means starting a business they’ve dreamed of for years, scaling an existing one to reflect their values, or finally finding the freedom to live the life they’ve always wanted. I’m also proud of the impact of my podcast and book, which allow me to connect with so many people on a larger scale. And, of course, I treasure my role as a purpose-driven wife and mom, modeling a life that aligns with the values I hold dear.
What do I want people to know about me and my brand? At the heart of everything I do is this belief: there is a purpose for each of us, and it’s far greater than we can imagine. I want my clients, listeners, and readers to know that they don’t have to settle for a life or business that doesn’t fully reflect their heart and values. Whether you’re launching a purpose-driven business, scaling an existing one, or simply trying to lead a more aligned life, I’m here to help you take bold, intentional steps.
My work is about empowering people to break free from limitations, embrace their calling, and create a legacy that feels meaningful. If I can inspire someone to step into their purpose and build something extraordinary, then I know I’m doing the work I’m called to do.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
Effective leaders know how to multiply the output of the team without sacrificing quality, all while developing the individuals on the team to reach each of their highest potential.
This often goes back to some of the most basic concepts surrounding leadership and a few foundational techniques I’ve used to successfully manage teams globally:
1. Leaders go first (i.e.- you want your team to have high morale, that means you must show up with an exemplary, personable, authentic, get-stuff-done attitude every day)
2. Expectations, Empowerment, & Excellence (i.e.- everyone wants to succeed and be set up for success. When you communicate your expectations, then empower your team members to meet those expectations, and then settle for nothing less than excellence… you’re able to rinse and repeat on ANY task/challenge/project/objective)
3. You work for your team, it’s never the other way around (i.e.-while company profits, deadlines, & initiatives must always be front of mind, if your focus as a leader is at least 51% on the professional development of your team members, they trust they are taken care of and that authentic attention to the development of their skills will serve them individually and the company 10X over and over again in the end)
Leadership is a responsibility and privilege; when done with intentionality and really understood, it becomes a superpower and super-multiplier for your business.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
The lesson I had to unlearn was that “quitting is failure.” Even from a young age, we’re all told “don’t quit, keep going.” We’re programmed to persevere … because quitting means you failed. We don’t quit in the middle of the race. We don’t quit in the middle of the season. We don’t quit until the work is done.
But… as an adult, when is the work ever really done?
As your stereotypical high achiever, my standard perseverance-programming had convinced me that “quitting was failure.” Because of this, I was living on auto-pilot, checking off the boxes “they” say to on the road to “success.”
Everything changed when I realized that “quitting” was actually one of the toughest things I’ve ever had to learn. I had to quit defining my success by everyone else definition. I had to quit putting everyone else’s needs before my own so that I could actually create space for my own transformation. I had to quit being so busy all the time without actually feeling fulfillment. I had to quit the hamster wheel life.
The more I quit the things that were no longer serving me, the more purpose, joy, & freedom I found. *I share all about this journey in the book: “The Joyful Entrepreneur Volume III, Awaken Renew Transform. Combatting Business Myths: Armoring Up With Truth”
How many things in your life are no longer serving your greater good and you know it’s time to quit? “Quitting isn’t Failure. Quitting is Freedom.”
