We recently connected with Brittney Laster and have shared our conversation below.
Brittney, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
Well, I lost my Biological mother when I was 3 years old and my biological father signed his rights over at birth so I never met him. Due to this I was raised by my maternal grandparents and my God Mother who I technically call my mother. I had a rough childhood. Dealt with more than most children ever dealt with. Nevertheless because of my 3 wonderful guardians I turned out pretty okay LOL. They were all unique in raising me in their own way however each one contributed very well. My grandmother was the stern, feisty, hardcore upbringing, my grandfather was the let’s pray and talk about it kinda guy and my God Mom/mom was the more rational let’s dig deeper to find out where this all stems from. I was a very sensitive yet rebellious child growing up. I cried at almost everything and didn’t know how to channel my inner emotions. I always let them get the best of me. But because of these different dynamics in rearing it shaped me to be the person I am today. I learned to apply those attributes in dealing with the world we live in today. Being a public figure, entrepreneur, minister etc you come across all different types of personalities. I learned that how I respond to these personalities while yet at the same time not let them overwhelm me is the best practice I can implement. It has helped me tremendously in my walk, my calling amd everyday living. I can deal with and tolerate most things that come my way while still holding on to my dignity and identity.

Brittney, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I was born and Raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Had an okay childhood. Suffered a lot of trauma from the loss of my biological mother at age 3, being denied by my father who signed his rights over when I was born, dealt with molestation, domestic violence and rejection, God called me to ministry to be able to help other women walk in their true calling Unapologetically and Authentically while finding their identity in him and him alone. It was then Women Of The Word Ministries was born. Which is now Walking Into HER Ministries. I am a SAHM/WFHM mom to 6 children. I wear several hats. I am a Minister, Faith-Fluencer, Published Author, Life Coach, Ambassador, Talk Show Host and Marketing Manager). I am known for doing Ministry (Preacher) Life Coaching there as well. I counsel young women and help them to get closer to God while allowing him to show them their purpose in life. I motivate others with encouraging words and or sermons/studies given to me by God to help them get through tough times. One of my hobbies is cooking and it is therapeutic for me. I enjoy cooking for others and my family and because of that God gave me the opportunity to write 2 cookbooks, Cookbook Journal and I have my own All Purpose Seasoning. (Books available on Amazon and my website) I also teach LIVE COOKING CLASSES once a month. I am Co-Owner of K&B Marketing Firm where we help assist Businesses with creating, implementing, and sustaining marketing strategies. We also plan and host marketing events with potential clients to help with the expansion of their company. We also do Branding, Public Relations, Host Webinars, Logo/Web Design, Flyers, Content Creation, Sponsorships, Press Release and I also offer 1-1 Coaching calls. I then help them by providing necessary resources needed to start, pray with them and also market their brand. I also do social media influencing where I am an Ambassador for many different brands like Walmart, Amazon, Temu, Shein and more. And last but not least, I also model. I operate in the Will of God and I allow him to lead me on what decisions need to be made which causes me to be set apart from the rest. Everything I do, I was CALLED to. I just operate in my CALLING. I got to where I am today by trusting God and allowing him to lead and guide me through the process by staying in His Word and staying before him (prayer).

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
My authenticity! This is so important to me. Walking in my Truth! Knowing my identity! Being secure with who I am and being me and free UNAPOLOGETICALLY! I am set apart and that is what makes me different. I love being different and because of that I stand out amongst the rest therefore making me a magnet to those who are meant to be attracted to me.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
Being a life coach, Marketing Manager and Minister amongst other things, my way of keeping in touch with my clients is more on a personal level. More intimate like. We communicate via email, zoom calls, lunches, coffee, etc.
