Hi Brittney, thanks for joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I came up with the idea for The Arlington Shop because I am born and raised here. I wanted something both visitors and residents alike could love.

The Arlington Shop sells all things Arlington – hats, hoodies, tees, bags, mugs, etc. They make the perfect gift for someone and are fun to show off your city pride!

Alright – let’s talk about marketing or sales – do you have any fun stories about a risk you’ve taken or something else exciting on the sales and marketing side?
Our best marketing has come from our community partnerships. Whether it’s pop ups for local city events, being at large celebrations like the St. Patrick’s Day Party at J. Gilligans, or our local retail partnerships, creating a web of marketing collateral that is mutually beneficial for so many people in the community has been integral.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
Engaging with people face to face. We usually have the honor of hearing so many stories about Arlington during our pop ups. We love being a part of people’s pride and joy living here in Arlington, TX.
