Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brittney Dorsey. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Brittney, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
I started making smoothies & juice in 2014. I launch my business in March of 2020. Helping people to live a healthier lifestyle and hearing their stories about how they love my drinks makes me feel like I’m accomplishing my mission.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
A small black woman-owned smoothie & juice business located in the RDU area.
What sets us apart from others is my drinks are naturally made and our goal is to spread health and wellness to all of our customers. We strive to select the best quality fruits and vegetables to ensure all of our smoothies and juices are top tier.
For the most part, some days are challenging and some days everything runs smooth, each day is a new challenge and I welcome it. All in all the outcome of it is learning how to be an entrepreneur and take the good with the bad.
We are most proud of the authenticity in the ingredients that make all of our products as well as our customer service
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
Learning how to have a separate account from your personal account. Learning your numbers , saving and business grants. Making sure your business has a LLC on it , write out your vision and accomplish everything on your list.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Being personal , accepting responsibility, being kind to others and building my social media
