Brittney, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think it takes to be successful?

When it comes to the term success, it varies due to people different perspective on what success is to them. To me success is doing what I love, the flexibility, serving others, returning clients, not feeling over-worked. The ability to have fun while technically “working”. It takes dedication, patience , obedience, courage, having great character, honesty, and professionalism.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Brittney Cox. I am the ceo and founder of Crowned Creation Characters. We specialize in character mascots. Our motto is the final touch to any event! No event is too big nor too small for us to crown. From a party at your home to a party in the corporate world, we’re your go to! We’re more than dancing and entertainment, we take pride in creating memorable moments for children and adults. I started my company in 2018. I was actually working and in my downtime I would jot down my ideas. So you can say this idea was birthed while I was working for someone else and their family. For a while I was hybrid with entrepreneurship and working for a mega tissue company. I took the idea to my Dad and in return he was the first to plant a seed into my business.
We take pride in creating memories, making sure each kid is included, safety, and an overall great experience.

How did you build your audience on social media?

Word of mouth is very vital when it comes to my business. My clients do a lot of promotion and marketing for me. It’s truly a blessing to meet new people due to referrals from past clients. I utilize Facebook, instagram, and occasionally Snapchat. I love the feature of scheduling posts ahead of time. I take time to schedule posts a month in advance to ensure I’m on top of my posting. You can also connect your Facebook with your instagram and that’s a two for one posting. It’s important to keep the momentum going and to respond and reply. An active page generates new possible clients.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

Honestly, consistency, engagement, professionalism, good character, and client referrals.
