Hi BRITTINI, thanks for joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

Drive, commitment to your vision, deep trust in yourself and also being open to God, the Universe, etc.

No matter what you create or bring into the world whether it’s a business, an idea, a human it will test you. It will test you to see if you can handle it, if you’re truly committed, if you’ll go all the way with it.

When I first started my business, Big Pussy Energy, I went through four months of deep uncertainty not feeling clear, not knowing what direction to go, questioning if BPE was truly what I was meant to do. But instead of completely abandoning it, I chose to keep going until I felt a deep NO in my body.

That NO never came. Instead, the uncertainty and confusion transformed into clarity and deep certainty because I moved through the storm. That storm of doubt allowed space for clarity to come through.

And that will most likely happen when you start anything big or impactful. The Universe will test you. It’s not about white-knuckling your way through it’s about staying the course, keeping your head down and your heart open, and listening to the whispers of what’s next.

Hey, my name is Brittini Burton, and I am the founder and creator of Big Pussy Energy.

Big Pussy Energy (BPE) is the unapologetic, movement-based practice that empowers women to embrace everything they have been conditioned to shame through the tools of sensual embodiment, twerking, and sisterhood. BPE liberates women, reconnecting them to their power and confidence.

BPE is a space for women to unleash themselves to tap into the wild, unapologetic language of their body and their sensuality.

In BPE, we say the language of the body is movement. So in BPE, you are learning the language of turn-on, sensuality, and power. And just like with spoken language, we may all be speaking the same one, but we each have our own unique handwriting: that’s embodiment.

BPE teaches women the language of turn-on and power through sensual floorwork sequences. Not only does this open them up to their own sensual energy which is life force and creative energy but being witnessed and celebrated by other women in the room adds an entirely new dimension to the experience.

Truly, there is nothing out there like BPE. It’s something you need to experience for yourself. It’s not a dance class because it’s not about performance there are no counts in the sequence, and we don’t dance to just one song. We dance to a different song each time we learn the sequence. It’s about connecting to your power, and it just so happens that tapping into your sensual energy is where a woman’s deepest power is held.

Alright – let’s talk about marketing or sales – do you have any fun stories about a risk you’ve taken or something else exciting on the sales and marketing side?

This is where trust in yourself and Source fully comes into play when being an entrepreneur.

I was barely making enough to cover my rent and car payments, teaching one class a week and running my online subscription-based platform for BPE. I knew I needed to create a high-ticket offer because my whole business was built on a one-to-many approach which works when you have a large audience, but I wasn’t fully there yet.

So, I launched a 1:1 mentorship container.

But if I’m being honest, I never felt fully connected to it. It wasn’t BPE. It felt separate from what I do. But I knew I needed to create an income stream that would still allow BPE to grow. You know that thing people always say “Sometimes you have to do things you don’t love to make money”? Yeah… I bought into that.

I went all in I launched a high-end 1:1 mentorship, did a full week of promo posts, email campaigns, and talked about it non-stop on my stories. And you know what happened?

Nothing.

No bites. No one was interested. And honestly, I wasn’t even mad about it. I’ve had launches flop before. But this time, I felt so uninspired by the whole thing that I knew this wasn’t the answer.

Instead, I remembered something from a few months back. Someone had asked if I would ever create a certification program so they could teach BPE in their own communities. At the time, I didn’t feel ready.

And then, there I was sitting in a coffee shop on a Monday morning, feeling discouraged about my mentorship launch. And I heard that little voice inside say:

“I’m not ready yet.”

And that was my cue to realize actually, I am ready.

One of my favorite entrepreneurial quotes is:
“If you start when you’re ready, you’ve started too late.”

I already knew what the program would look like. I knew how long it would be, what I would teach, and exactly how I could support them. I had it. And I was ready.

So, in that moment, I posted nonchalantly on my stories:
“I’m opening up spots for BPE Instructor Certification.”

Within two hours, I had six people book discovery calls with me.

Long story short I’m now certifying six women from all over the world to create and lead their own BPE classes. All because I took a leap. I trusted my inner knowing. And I followed what lit me up instead of what just made sense.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

Word of Mouth

Yes, even in 2025, word of mouth is still the most effective way to grow because it’s reliable, trustworthy, and has an emotional connection behind it.

By teaching a weekly in-person class, clients feel you. They get to know you. They form a connection with you. And I’ve found that after just a couple of classes, people loveeee to talk about BPE. They get hooked: like, instantly and without me even asking, they’re sharing it on their social media, telling their friends, bringing their sisters.

That’s the power of organic, community-driven growth.

Even in this hyper-digital, tech-driven world, people crave real human connection more than ever. And nothing builds a movement like people experiencing something so powerful they can’t help but share it.
