We were lucky to catch up with Brittany Wisniewski recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittany, thanks for joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
Success can be defined in many ways, but some key elements often contribute to achieving it, regardless of the specific goals. The first key element is perseverance. The ability to push through challenges & setbacks is vital. Many successful individuals have faced significant obstacles but continued to work toward their goals. The second key element is adaptability because the world is constantly changing. Being open to new ideas & willing to adapt one’s strategies can lead to success, particularly in rapidly evolving fields. The last key element is networking & relationships, by building a network of supportive relationships can provide resources, advice, and opportunities that can open doors to success.
Consider the story of how I became successful. I was an Office Manager when I began thinking of owning a business. It took time to decide which industry I wanted to be in, but my perseverance led me to keep believing that an idea would present itself.
My passion for running a business and experience in the corporate industry drove me to continue to brainstorm. Eventually, my husband & I opened our first business called Wiz World Travels LLC, selling clothing, accessories & luggage online. In the beginning, we faced some adversities that caused some setbacks. We had to change multiple platforms due to shortage of distributors & canceled integrations. It was truly a learning experience that resulted in our business launching on Amazon. We are thrilled to be on Amazon & enjoy making our customers happy. The success of our first business & having corporate exposure throughout my career led me to opening my second business called Sign and Stamp Notary Services. There were countless times in my career that I was asked if I was a Notary Public. I took this into consideration, became a Certified Notary Public, established the business & it was one of the greatest decisions of my life.
By the same token, I encountered many components that I needed to adapt to with Sign and Stamp Notary Services. In this industry, there are options to administer remote online notarization. In addition, I researched the best software to utilize & found Blue Notary to be the safest & most convenient for all parties. It has improved my business by offering customers options that can adapt to their needs if they are unable to meet in person.
Finally, networking & building relationships are paramount for success in almost any field. The importance of networking & building relationships is not just about exchanging business cards or social media connections. It’s about fostering meaningful connections that lead to mutual growth & support. Moreover, it entails knowledge sharing, having a support system, increased visibility, trust building, access to resources & career advancement. Success is rarely a solitary endeavor; it thrives in a community where individuals uplift & empower each other. Investing time & energy into building & maintaining your network can lead to countless opportunities & ways to navigate the complexities of your career path.
This illustrates how a combination of perseverance, adaptability, networking & building relationships can lead to extraordinary success.
In developing my view on success, I also reflect on various examples across different fields—from entrepreneurs who pivot their businesses in times of crisis to athletes who overcame injuries & setbacks. Each story reinforces the idea that success is often a journey marked by perseverance, a willingness to learn, & the courage to adapt.

I’m a married, outgoing, dog lover & entrepreneur that owns two businesses. I found the industry of retail & notary by brainstorming a few ideas when I had the vision of opening a business. My husband & I settled on Wiz World Travels LLC, a retail company that has products on Amazon. In addition, I opened a notary company that helps customers notarize various documents in person or online.
Owning two businesses can be an incredibly rewarding yet challenging experience. It demands not only a great deal of time & effort but also a unique mindset that sets you apart from others. Here are a few reflections on what distinguishes this path & what I take pride in.
First reflection is having a diverse skill set, managing two businesses requires a blend of skills, from strategic planning & financial management to marketing & customer service. This diversity has honed my ability to adapt quickly & think creatively across different industries.
Second reflection is time management, juggling multiple businesses has forced me to master time management. I’ve learned to prioritize effectively & delegate tasks, ensuring that both ventures receive the attention they deserve without compromising quality.
Third reflection is networking & collaboration, owning two businesses allows me to leverage relationships across different sectors. The insights & collaborations have enriched both ventures & opened up new opportunities I never anticipated.
Fourth reflection is resilience & problem-solving, running multiple enterprises comes with its share of challenges. The ability to navigate setbacks & come up with pragmatic solutions is a defining characteristic that I believe sets me apart. It’s about embracing challenges as opportunities for growth.
Last reflection is having a customer-centric approach, whether it’s service-based or product-based businesses, putting the customer first has always been a primary focus. Understanding different customer needs across industries provides a unique perspective that informs my overall business strategy.
In addition to this, I’m most proud of many attributes. I take pride in being able to think outside the box. Each business has its unique challenges & I’ve implemented innovative solutions that not only address those challenges but have also brought about efficiencies & improvements. Along with community engagement, both businesses have become integral parts of their respective communities. Subsequently, The path of owning two businesses has taught me the importance of lifelong learning. I genuinely appreciate that every obstacle I face brings new lessons that contribute to personal & professional growth.
In conclusion, the experience of owning two businesses is one of dynamic learning, connection & growth. The challenges are numerous, but the rewards—especially the impact I can make on individuals, communities, & my own personal development—are truly what make this path worthwhile.
How did you build your audience on social media?
Building an audience on social media is both an art & a science, I have outlined a common pathway to take based on successful strategies & practices.
The first step would be to define your audience, identify your focus & choose a specific topic that you are passionate about & knowledgeable in. Research & understand who your target audience is, including their interests, demographics & the platforms they frequent. This makes it easier to connect with a targeted audience.
Second step is to create authentic & valuable content. Quality over quantity, focus on creating high-quality content that provides value to your audience, whether that’s educational, entertaining, or inspiring. Be authentic, share your personal stories, insights, & experiences. Authenticity resonates with people & helps build trust.
Third step is to engage with your audience. Respond to comments, interact with your followers by replying to their comments and messages. This builds community and rapport. Ask questions, encourage engagement by asking questions in your posts to stimulate conversation.
Fourth step is to collaborate & network. Partner with others, collaborate with influencers or creators in your industry to reach new audiences & gain exposure. Join relevant groups, participate in online communities & groups related to your industry to connect with others & share your expertise.
Fifth step is consistency & frequency. Regular posting, create a content schedule & stick to it to keep your audience engaged & coming back for more. Consistency in branding, use a consistent tone, style, & visuals across your posts to establish a recognizable brand identity.
Sixth step is to leverage trends & hashtags. Stay current, keep an eye on trending topics & challenges relevant to your industry & incorporate them into your content. Use hashtags wisely, research & use relevant hashtags to increase the visibility of your posts and reach a broader audience. Lastly, promote cross-platform by diversifying your platforms. Share your content on multiple social media platforms to reach a wider audience & build brand presence. Direct traffic, use your existing social media to promote accounts on other platforms.
My advice for beginners is to be patient. Building an audience takes time. Don’t get discouraged by slow growth at the beginning. Stay true to yourself, don’t try to replicate someone else’s style or content. Find your unique voice & stick with it. Keep learning, stay updated with social media trends & marketing techniques, as the landscape is always changing.
By following these steps & staying committed, new content creators can gradually build a loyal & engaged audience on social media. Remember, it’s all about connection & value!

There are certainly some videos & resources that have had a profound impact on my management & entrepreneurial thinking.
