We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Brittany Williams a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Brittany, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?

Growing up, I always questioned myself while boosting others. I really didn’t know if I had what it took. I’ve always been good with my hands, styling clothes & etc. but I just didn’t feel like it was good enough or I was. I used to sit and watch YouTube videos thinking I could be that girl too but was to afraid until one day I didn’t want to be afraid anymore. I decided to post the videos & pictures. Now I’m here. 😀

Brittany, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My name is Brittany Williams, I am the owner of All The Way Glam. At ATWG we sell a variety of cosmetics & accessories. I went to cosmetology school in 2010 & graduated 2013. I’ve always had a love and passion for anything beauty & fashion related. I love to help people feel good about themselves.

Back in 2020 I lost everything with Covid19. I lost my job, 401k etc. I had nothing, so I decided to take the little money I had left which was less than $3k & invested in myself & that’s how All The Way Glam was born.

The thing that sets ATWG apart is that we give quality at affordable prices. Everything I sell is something I would wear myself. I’ve actually worn everything myself b/c I stand behind my brand & quality. We belive beauty should be affordable for everyone.

I want people to know I’m just like you. I’m human. The person you see on the screen is who I am in person. I’m vibrant, fun & full of energy.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

Absolutely. I grew up extremely poor. I knew we were poor as a kid. I also knew at an early age I didn’t want to be an adult, have children & being them up in the same environment. I’ve beaten all the odds in regards to I probably shouldn’t be here based off of what I’ve been through in my life. I’ve been raped, molested, homeless, teen pregnancy, divorced & etc. but I’m alive happy & healthy.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

The internet & networking. Both are completely FREE & available. You can reach people locally through networking but thousands through internet.
