Brittany, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Since I was young, I’ve always had the passion to organize and plan everything out. I would be the go to person for family and friends to gather those details and information it took to plan an event or trip. Some may say that I have OCD when it comes to making sure things are in place but I think my attention to detail is what makes me great at what I do! Also, working as a quality analyst, it’s my job to help plan, design, and execute a project from beginning to end. Being in this field I am able to apply what I’ve learned and implement that into my event planning business!
The time and energy it takes to plan and coordinate an event from beginning to end can leave you feeling exhausted and overwhelmed. Especially, when you still have all your regular work to do! That’s exactly why I’ve created Bizzie B’s Event Planning Services! I love planning so much that I hope you can allow me to take care of those precious details and plan the perfect event for you!
Brittany, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Bizzie B’s Event Planning Services will do all the “heavy lifting” for you. I will create, manage and coordinate your event. What does this mean exactly? I will coordinate with and book vendors team for you, schedule site tours, coordinate event services and manage budgets. So all you need to do is show up!
My goal here is to relieve you of the added stress and exhaustion it takes to plan and coordinate an event from beginning to end. Tell me your vision and I’ll turn it into reality!

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
When it came to starting my business. It took me a little bit to fully believe in myself and take that leap of faith. The same went for funding my business. Because I was not used to investing so much in myself there was quite a bit of hesitation on how much to invest but I did it. After doing some research and talking to a few people, I invested what I needed to get my business up and going! I was actually my first client. That’s right, I paid myself to plan my 30th birthday party! I knew if I didn’t want to invest in myself then who else would? I knew that once I started believing in myself and the vision I had for Bizzie B’s Event Planning Services then everyone else would too!
How did you build your audience on social media?
If I can be honest, building my social media audience is a work in progress! It can be a challenge trying to figure out when to post content, which platform and what type of content (story vs reel, etc). Not only that but also being consistent with how often to post. When I do post content it does help build my audience but I would at this point in my business it’s mostly by word of mouth from family, friends and clients I’ve serviced! My advice to those starting out with their social media presence, you don’t have to post content every day and on every platform. Pick 2 or 3 days a week and one platform to start out with and master!
