Alright, Brittany thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

Yes! Test Prep Unlimited LLC is totally a mission driven company! My mission is to provide comprehensive and tailored tutoring services to high school students for academic success. As a former high school teacher of thirteen years, I am aware that students learn in many different ways and Test Prep Unlimited LLC does its very best to assist students in reaching their academic goals by focusing on each individual student’s learning style. In so many occasions, students are not as successful in a certain academic area, not because the don’t understand the targeted concept, but because the delivery of the academic material wasn’t presented to them in their learning style. Therefore, making the student fall behind in class, decreasing their self esteem and diminishing the self confidence. Test Prep Unlimited LLC first goal is to identify the student’s individual learning style, second is to identify the student’s academic strengths, and the third is to identify the student’s areas of growth.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Brittany Jordan and I am the owner and operator of Test Prep Unlimited LLC. I am a certified teacher in the following content areas: English, English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and ACT/SAT (college entrance exams). I have thirteen years of experience as a classroom teacher, 6 years of experience as an ACT/SAT tutor, and 2 years of experience as the owner and operator of Test Prep Unlimited LLC.

As the owner and operator of Test Prep Unlimited LLC my main focus is the educational development and growth of high school students trying to make academic gains on national college entrance exams (ACT/SAT). I focus on individual growth and goals, spending a great deal of time analyzing students’ individual learning styles, test prep skills and strategies and brain muscle memory.

Test Prep Unlimited LLC focuses on all the subparts of both the ACT and SAT. Making sure to student is academically equipped and proficient in all content areas. I have an overall success rate of assisting students to gaining 4 point to their scores. And I work great with high school athletes trying to get their “eligibility score” to receive an athletic scholarship.

I offer both in-person and virtual tutoring options, with the option to elect dual enrollment to meet the needs of everyone’s busy schedules.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

With so many people being connect to the internet and social media platforms, you would think that would be the logical answer… but it’s NOT! The answer is RESULTS!!! My business grew from mere word-of-mouth from my clients and their parents. Once the clients and their parents see the test results and the improvements firsthand, they instantly spread the word to others who may need academic tutoring. My students’ academic success is what has rapidly grew my clientele. It’s easy for me to pitch my tutoring company to potential clients but my clients sharing their success stories to others are more effective and efficient because they are giving factual testimonies of how my tutoring service helped them reach their academic goals.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

As stated earlier, I had been a high school teacher for thirteen years. In March of 2022, I decided to focus on my passion; my dream job, which was tutoring full time. I loved teaching high school test prep, but I knew that I could reach more students if I could do my program- my way! So in June of 2022, I made a drastic transition, I did a whole life reset! I moved from my hometown of Memphis, Tennessee to Lawrenceville, Georgia. And here in Georgia, is where my life, my career, AND my business changed! I started working at a local school tutoring students in ACT/SAT and the word spread to other students, parents and families once the test results came in and students and families could see the academic growth and improvement.
