Brittany, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s something you believe that most people in your industry (or in general) disagree with?

In general, most people feel as though the amount of money they make determines their success. I for one, believe that it’s the impact you make on others lives that determines it. Our lives should not be about the goal of becoming rich, although we would like to be well off financially of course, especially in this economy. But, being rich and being generous are definitely two different things. I can make all the money in the world and keep it to myself, if I so choose to, but what I do with that money is a staple of generosity and wanting to be a person of service and help to others. I can truly make a difference in others lives and not only be financially well off but be a positive source of influence to others. It’s heartwarming and fulfilling.

Hi Everyone, I am Brittany Scribner the Founder of Moms In Sync which is a brand with a vision to solve a need in the single mom community. Moms In Sync was created by myself, a single mom, to empower other single mothers through organization and support. As a special gift, single mothers are given a FREE planner to help them initiate getting organized. Being able to have the means to start can help reduce the stress and struggle that comes with it. Reducing stress in motherhood can not only help with mental health but the mothers physical health as well. We focus on what is best for the single mom who does so much to create a healthy balanced life for herself and her child(ren).

Moms In Sync is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of single mothers, and our initiatives have a profound social impact in several key areas:

Empowerment: By providing single mothers with the tools, resources, and support they need, Moms In Sync empowers them to take control of their lives and overcome challenges with confidence. Through workshops, events, and community engagement, we help single mothers build essential life skills, enhance their self-esteem, and realize their full potential.

Community Building: Moms In Sync creates a sense of belonging and community among single mothers by fostering connections and relationships. Through our events and online platforms, we provide a supportive environment where single mothers can share experiences, seek advice, and offer encouragement to one another. This sense of community reduces feelings of isolation and strengthens social networks, enhancing overall well-being.

Advocacy and Awareness: Moms In Sync advocates for the rights and needs of single mothers, raising awareness about the unique challenges they face and promoting policies and initiatives that support their well-being. By amplifying the voices of single mothers and advocating for change, we work to create a more inclusive and equitable society where all families can thrive.

These key areas are accomplished through our hosting of the Single Moms Summit, where a lineup of inspiring speakers are brought together to share valuable insights and strategies to help single moms navigate various aspects of single motherhood with grace and confidence. From social media support groups, to financial management and self-care, and parenting tips towards career advancement, this summit covers it all!

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

As the founder, a single mother myself, brings firsthand understanding and passion to Moms In Sync’s mission. From personal experiences shaping my vision, I empathize deeply with the challenges single mothers face daily. My resilience and determination serves as inspiration, driving the organization’s commitment to empowering others. Through my leadership, Moms In Sync offers more than just practical assistance; it provides a supportive community where single mothers find understanding and encouragement. My dedication extends beyond professional responsibilities; it’s a personal commitment to make a meaningful difference in the lives of single mothers everywhere. With me at the helm, Moms In Sync embodies authenticity, compassion, and a genuine desire to uplift and empower single mothers.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

When it comes to social media, I built my audience by giving glimpses of my life as a single mom. For those just starting to build the social media presence, people like to see your personal connection to your brand. Being relatable gives someone more of a reason to want to stay connected. Then of course, there are also those that just want to see what you are up to. Either way, I can’t tell you the amount of messages I have received of someone saying they needed to see a particular post that I made and it having an impact on them or the messages of people being proud of my growth. I appreciate them all and I’ve learned through being in my industry, sharing is caring.
