Alright, Brittany thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you wish you had started sooner?

I wish I started my business sooner. I love what I do and I love being my own boss. It has given me the opportunity and flexibility to also be the mom I have always wanted to be for my 3 kids.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I started my own business to have the freedom to be with my babies. I also started it as a hobby to capture special memories of them and it grew from there. I slowly started to get asked to capture memories of other families and the feeling made me feel honored. The fact that someone wanted me to be able to capture and experience their beautiful family.

Staying true to myself and knowing my worth as an artist is extremely important. Other photographers were upset and even friends that were photographers were very upset that I started photography and really put me down. I think that just pushed me even more.

I specialize in Emotive Family photography. I capture the love language of a family as a whole. I want nothing more to capture what’s truly unique and special about your family.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

When I get a message from a family that said the love their images, or when I see my work hanging on their walls. Its It’s a magical moment for me.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?

My Mentorship program I have taken has helped me really dive in deep into the imagery I want to produce. My mentor is nothing short of amazing.
