We recently connected with Brittany Passion and have shared our conversation below.
Brittany , appreciate you joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
Success can be viewed in various ways depending on who you ask. I believe that how someone sees success will ultimately affect their choices and will be the driving force behind everything they do. Success is a journey, not a destination. I believe that your attitude determines your altitude meaning having a positive mindset and being grateful will always take you far. Personally, in order to truly be successful , I think it takes a lot discipline, intentionality, consistency , persistence and motivation. But first before any of those things, I think you have to have a belief in yourself that you can be successful. Confidence is key!!!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hey everyone… My name is Brittany Passion, NO TALK, ALL ACTION and I am originally from Dayton Ohio, Home of Aviation and the Gem City. I know I was born to soar and shine my light and energetic personality on everyone around me. I am a firm believer in letting your passion drive your purpose. Through my experiences and struggles, I realize that my calling is to be a true trailblazer using my own passion to fuel that purpose while also igniting the fire in others to do the same.
As a true creative at heart I have worked on various film & television projects both mainstream and independent in different capacities. I have also modeled for top hair companies, brands, fashion lines and more. I am a CEO, booking agent/brand consultant, actress, model, brand ambassador, media personality and more. My mission is to serve others through art, ministry, education, empowerment and entertainment by touching at least one life on and off camera in everything that I do. I believe it is important for me to use my story, talents, experience, and skills to provide opportunities for others to follow their dreams and share their stories too.
Arts and Entertainment has always been an outlet for me as I love inspiring, creating and transforming. I have found that through past failed relationships, fake friendships and sometimes no family support, being able to discover who I truly am and also expressing myself creatively is my therapy. It was through these revelations as well as life’s trials and tribulations that I was able to establish and birth , The Passion Xperience LLC. Mental Health Awareness, Women’s Empowerment and Self-Care are values I stand on and I also wanted to make sure that I incorporated them into my business.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Sometimes, we learn things at a young age or throughout our life experiences that may not always be helpful or valuable. And at times, we may not realize that these beliefs or lessons could be holding us back from our truest passion, purpose and potential. Often times, unlearning these concepts can be difficult. One lesson I had to unlearn is ” Never turn down an opportunity”. I was always taught that if you are presented with any opportunity and you want to be successful, then you need to to be grateful because everyone doesn’t get certain opportunities. However, the older I got and through other life experiences I realized that alignment is way more important opportunity. Once you understand your passion and purpose , then you can truly understand the importance of “what’s for you will always be for you and no one can take it away”. You’ll understand that just because you say no, it does not make you a bad person or less grateful person.
Personally I believe that not taking ever opportunity shows strength, boundaries, restraint, self-care and maturity. It shows you understand how burnout can happen and you have decided to choose you because you want to be able to give 110% in everything you sign your name to. Self- care must always come first or your work/that opportunity will suffer. Timing is everything, so it is important to value your time and say no sometimes. I always tell people to be “hungry” and not “thirsty”. When you are thirsty you are willing to drink from any and every cup out/ take any opportunity of desperation. But when you are hungry, you have a taste for exactly what you want (being in alignment) and if it not that (the opportunity), then you will not fully be satisfied/fulfilled.
I unlearned ” Never turn down an opportunity”, when I realized I was trying to be everything for everybody. I was scared to say no and scared to turn down any opportunity’s. One time I became extremely overwhelmed and had a panic attack because I had so much on my plate. I took on opportunity after opportunity to the point where I neglected my health which led to me having to get three iron transfusions.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Personally, it took me a while to really grasp this whole social media thing and I am still learning more daily. It will not happen overnight but if you are consistent, you will start to see growth and an increase in your audience. One thing that really helped me was being able to set my monthly social media goals and having a clear content plan. Since I am an extremely busy person, it was important for me to lay everything out and that made it much easier. Once I did that, I was able to narrow down my main 2 goals which were: focus on building brand awareness and connecting with my audience.
In order to build your social media presence I would say:
1. Make sure you listen to your audience. I always ask questions, have my followers participate in a poll, ask for their opinions so that I can see what they want more of
2. Make sure you engage with your audience. I never let a comment go by that I don’t respond to or at least like. I also try to ensure that I reply to direct messages, and give a call to action on my captions
3. Make everything personalized. You can’t be on social media and not be social lol. I think it is important to encourage your followers to tag their friends or anyone who they feel could benefit from your post
4.Make sure you use at least 3 hashtags. I feel that sometimes people use social media like Google. They are always searching for things and if you use the right hashtags, your post could come up and boom, now you have a new follower
