Alright, Brittany thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your creative career sooner or later?

I’ve realized that everything happens in due time. Though I regret walking away from balloons ten years ago, I now recognize that I wasn’t fully prepared for the work and responsibilities of self-employment at 22. But now, it’s finally my time to shine. I’m building a brand from the bottom up and using creative tools like Canva to create menus, fliers, business cards, and mock-ups. Canva has been one of my most valuable tools in advertising. For the first time in my life, I’m doing a job that brings me joy. Looking forward to your event is an understatement – I genuinely appreciate the opportunity to continue learning and bringing smiles along the way. I can proudly say that I’m a Balloon Artist..

Brittany, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Hi there! I’m Brittany, the proud owner of Bountiful Balloons LLC, where I bring balloon artistry to life. Based in Titusville, FL, I service Brevard, Volusia, and Orange counties, Specializing in balloon twisting and décor. Whether it’s custom balloon marquees, centerpieces, arches, columns, garlands, and more. Your vision becomes my creation, bringing joy to your guests with eye-catching twisted sculptures and custom-designed room décor.

As a child, my creative spirit thrived in various art forms. My journey into the world of balloons began during college in 2013 when I stumbled upon an ad for making balloon animals as a part-time job. I discovered a fun creative outlet in balloon twisting. Through that initial ad, I became involved with a company that found restaurant work for Twisters. Due to personal life events and other growth opportunities, I went on a 9-year hiatus leaving the balloon world behind.

2022 marked a turning point for my family and I. Facing personal loss and uncertainty, my family encouraged me to revisit my balloon artistry and with it my creative spirit. Overcoming doubts, I took a leap of faith, and Bountiful Balloons was born in July 2022. Since then, I’ve delved into endless possibilities, expanding into décor while staying rooted in twisting.

I’m grateful to have learned from top professionals by attending a convention and classes and learning new designs and techniques to elevate my brand. I take pride in versatility, collaborating with clients to bring their visions to life, from playful animals to luxury decor. Balloon art isn’t limited to children’s parties. I’m here to elevate events of all kinds. Whether it’s grand openings, birthdays, baby showers, or corporate gatherings.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

As a balloon artist, the most fulfilling part of my job is seeing the happiness and joy that my creations bring to people. It’s a unique way to spread happiness and create memorable experiences for others. I cherish the moments when children run up to me with big smiles on their faces, saying “You made me…” and I feel grateful to have brought some light into their lives. Especially in these trying times, it’s important to be a source of joy and hope for others. I am humbled to be able to do that through my art.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?

Society can support balloon artists and the creative ecosystem by recognizing and valuing their work, attending events, sharing their creations on social media, and considering commissioned pieces for celebrations or events. Additionally, supporting local art initiatives and advocating for arts education helps foster a thriving creative community.
