Alright, Brittany thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We love asking folks what they would do differently if they were starting today – how they would speed up the process, etc. We’d love to hear how you would set everything up if you were to start from step 1 today

If I was starting over in Real Estate I would team up with a mentor right away, I would sit down with veteran agents and ask a lot of questions, I would start branding myself on social media, set up a brand photoshoot, join networking groups, and starting building my sphere of influence. I would also set a monthly marketing budget.

Things I have learned…
Your reputation follows you everywhere
Setting quarterly and yearly goals are important
Work with a broker who is hands on
Collaboration with other Realtors is so important
Find friends who are Realtors or in the same industry
The only competition is you
Stay consistent
Be teachable
It’s okay to drop what’s not working
Have passion. If you don’t have passion, you’re not going to love this job and it’s going to show. If you don’t love it leave it
Your earning potential is unlimited

Brittany , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

At just 16, I became a teen mom. Defying all odds, I managed to graduate high school, become a licensed massage therapist, and eventually opened my own spa, which I ran for 3 years before selling. While running a successful Etsy business, I reluctantly earned my real estate license, uncertain of how serious I wanted to take it. My first land sale ushered me into the world of real estate, and now, here I am, almost 5 years later mentoring new agents, hosting both a successful monthly business networking lunch and an e-course on how to do so, and selling 5 million plus in real estate. In 2021, I landed in the top 12% of the brokerage network and in 2021 and 2022 I won Best of the Best Realtor for Lake and Sumter Style Magazine.

I am undoubtedly passionate about my career. My daughters motivate me daily to be the best version of myself inside and out.

Staying consistent on social media, kindness towards other agents, authenticity and giving back to my community.
