Brittany , appreciate you joining us today. Owning a business isn’t always glamorous and so most business owners we’ve connected with have shared that on tough days they sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have just had a regular job instead of all the responsibility of running a business. Have you ever felt that way?
As a business owner, I truly love having the autonomy to make decisions based on my own values. While there are certainly challenges that come with running a business, I find the rewards to be worth it. That being said, I have definitely had moments where I wondered what it would be like to have a regular job. The last time this thought crossed my mind was during a particularly stressful period where I was juggling multiple projects and feeling overwhelmed. However, upon reflecting on my situation, I realized that the freedom and flexibility that come with being a business owner ultimately make me happier and more fulfilled. While there may be moments of uncertainty and doubt, I am grateful for the opportunity to pursue my passion and make a difference in my own unique way.

I became vegan 3 years ago after watching a documentary and it changed my life. Since then, I graduated from plant-based culinary school and started The Veggie Table. We provide catering, meal prep, and private chef experiences with familiar flavors and scratch-made meals. Our food is made with love and not processed. As for myself, I am proud to have turned my passion into a successful business that helps people kick start their vegan journey. What sets us apart is our commitment to providing healthy, delicious, and sustainable meals that are tailored to the needs and preferences of our clients. We solve the problem of finding plant-based meals that are both satisfying and nutritious.
I am most proud of the positive impact we have had on people’s lives and health. I want potential clients, followers, and fans to know that we are passionate about what we do and are always striving to improve and innovate. We believe in the power of food to transform lives and are dedicated to making healthy and ethical eating accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Maintaining my values of creating flavorful, non-processed meals has played a key role in building my reputation within the market. By using familiar flavors that bring joy to people, I believe my food has become something that people look forward to.
Can you share one of your favorite marketing or sales stories?
One of my favorite marketing stories was when I placed my business cards inside vegan products at the grocery store. It was a risky move, but it paid off. Watching the different traffic come to my website and the influx of new customers and orders was exciting. It was satisfying to know that my idea was successful in driving sales. Overall, it was a fun and rewarding experience that taught me the value of taking calculated risks in marketing.
