We recently connected with Brittany Fiebiger and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Brittany thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about the best boss, mentor, or leader you’ve ever worked with.
My current boss, Laurie is amazing. She is a trailblazer in her industry, inspiring and a true boss. I have known her for close to 15 years and started out as her social media manager and friend. When she switched companies to Aluma Medical Aesthetics, she asked me to come along with her as her assistant in clinic – best decision I ever made. The knowledge I have gained from her is next to none, both personally and professionally. I am inspired by her daily by the time, care and education she gives each patient. In a fast-growing industry I appreciate that she takes her time and educates each and every patient that walks through our door. Taking the initiative to do that I think makes her a great leader.
Brittany, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I love this industry (Medical Aesthetics) and couldn’t imagine any other field of work to be in. My job is in patient care and I love what I do. I get to engage with new people everyday, watch their journey of achieving what makes them feel beautiful or more confident in their own skin.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
In order to grow your clientele I think its most important that each provider gives their current patients or clients the best possible care, education and explanation on each treatment and procedure and why that is necessary for them. If you give your current patients the best possible care, they will spread that word and share their experience with friends, family and other people they surround themselves with. Word-of-mouth clientele is by far the best kind to gain in my eyes.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
As I previously shared, I had worked in social media along with other odds and ends jobs, nannying, customer service, etc.. I loved them all but nothing really filled my cup, nothing made me feel like I was excited to go to work. When Laurie brought me on to work with her at Aluma Medical, we instantly made a great team, a perfect match – our banter, how I can read her mind, and finish each others sentences is special when you work so closely with someone everyday. Having someone like Laurie to work with, her patients and the fun we all have in clinic is what makes me know I chose the right path,
