We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Brittany Dke. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Brittany below.
Brittany, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
Creator Lyfe started as a spark, a moment of realization that creators needed more than just content tips and viral trends. They needed infrastructure, support, and a real community to help them turn passion into purpose and income. At the time, I was coaching creators and building content for myself, and I kept seeing the same pain points: burnout, confusion about monetization, and no clear path for scaling. I remember thinking, “There has to be a better way to grow with creators, not just talk to them.”
The next day, I started mapping it out, making notes of who this is for, what do they need, and what’s the dream version of this platform? From there, I began building the Creator Lyfe ecosystem one layer at a time. I started by offering digital courses and coaching, and quickly saw demand grow from individual support to community-based learning.
Over the months, I invested in branding, built the first set of online trainings, created systems for memberships, and launched a newsletter and community. Eventually, Creator Lyfe grew beyond digital and became physical with the launch of our first Creator Lyfe House in Los Angeles, CA designed to give creators a real space to work, rest, and collaborate. I went from an idea to a fully operating brand that combines content, coaching, community, and co-living.
What really made it possible was listening, starting small, and letting Creator Lyfe grow layer by layer. I didn’t wait for it to be perfect, I just kept showing up, building the pieces, and saying “yes” to the next step.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m the founder of Creator Lyfe, a platform and movement designed to support creators and entrepreneurs in building purpose-driven brands, profitable content, and multiple income streams, while staying aligned, energized, and in control. I started as a content creator and business coach, and like many others in the space, I wore all the hats: strategist, editor, social media manager, CEO. Through that journey, I realized that while there were a lot of “how-to” tips out there, there weren’t enough systems, spaces, or support structures helping creators actually scale sustainably.
What started as 1:1 coaching and digital courses eventually turned into something much bigger: a growing ecosystem that blends education, community, and physical infrastructure. Creator Lyfe now offers digital products, strategy sessions, creator-focused workshops, memberships, and most recently, we expanded beyond California and launched the Creator Lyfe House, a content house and retreat space in Las Vegas built for creators, by a creator.
We help solve some of the biggest problems creators face:
Not knowing how to turn content into consistent income
Feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or stuck in survival mode
Lacking structure, confidence, or clarity around branding and monetization
Having the talent but no support system or place to grow
What sets Creator Lyfe apart is that we don’t just focus on followers or viral content. We help people build businesses, systems, and creative confidence from the inside out. It’s not just a brand, it’s a movement. Our community is filled with visionaries who want to create on their own terms and still thrive financially, mentally, and creatively.
I’m most proud of the impact we’ve had on creators who thought they had to “do it all alone.” Whether it’s helping someone land their first brand deal, sell their first digital product, or finally take a content break without guilt, those wins mean everything to me.
For anyone considering working with us or following the journey, just know this: Creator Lyfe is for you if you’re ready to grow online, live with purpose, and create a brand that aligns with your real life, not just your feed. Whether you’re just getting started or scaling up, we’ve built a space where your vision is valid, and your voice matters.
Can you open up about how you funded your business?
I didn’t have investors, a big loan, or a trust fund. I started Creator Lyfe with a vision and sheer determination, and I literally funded the very first steps by cashing in bottles and change. That’s how I paid for things like filing my LLC, buying my domain name, and trademarking the brand. I was resourceful with everything, I used free tools, built my first website myself, and relied on the skills I had instead of waiting for permission or capital.
As the business grew, I reinvested every dollar from course sales, coaching calls, and digital products right back into Creator Lyfe. I was intentional: I didn’t spend to look successful, I spent to build something sustainable. That mindset helped me grow from those early hustle days into a full-blown platform with a community, paid programs, and a physical Creator Lyfe House.
For anyone starting without money, just know: you don’t need everything to get started. You just need to start with what you have and keep building forward.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I built my audience on social media by showing up before I felt ready, and being consistent before I saw the results. In the beginning, it was just me, my phone, and a message I believed in. I didn’t have the best lighting or fancy equipment, but I did have purpose. I focused on sharing value, telling real stories, and speaking to the people I wanted to help, not just trying to go viral.
I paid attention to what resonated and doubled down on that. I tested different formats, learned how to read my analytics, and treated my platforms like a living experiment. Most importantly, I didn’t wait until I had it all figured out, I built with my audience instead of trying to impress them.
Now, my content reaches millions, but it didn’t happen overnight, it happened through alignment, storytelling, and strategy.
