Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brittany Arroyos. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Brittany , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to start by getting your thoughts on what you are seeing as some the biggest trends emerging in your industry.
I am living for the current trends in the creative world right now! I am seeing LOTS of film and vintage vibes! We are truly reliving the 90s right now and I am here for it! Give me all of the grainy photos
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi guys! My name is Brittany. I am a 30 year old mama to a wild threenager. I was born and raised in Arizona and have always had a special place in my heart for the desert. I picked up my first film camera at 8 years old and I never really sat it down after that.. During my teen years I was still taking photos even if they were on my flip phones! Haha. I made physical albums of all my photos every year, some great and some not so great.. Oh and I took film in college!
Fast forward to 2018 when I had my handsome boy.. I was hit with crippling Postpartum Anxiety after a scary and traumatic birth.. I felt so lost, I felt like I lost a huge piece of me.. I didn’t recognize myself anymore. One day I pulled out my Canon Rebel T6i my sweet husband got me a year prior and forced myself to go back out and do what makes me truly so happy.. I photographed my first family later that year.. I truly never sat my camera back down again. I pushed myself through the hardest moments of my life and it has lead me here. It has lead me to some of my happiest moments. I has lead me to becoming a successful photographer in an industry I thought I could never make it in.
Don’t give up on your dreams..If you are 25, 40, 67, or 99.. It is never to late.. Life has a funny way of unfolding what is meant to be even in the midst of struggle.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
This is a interesting question because I feel like every creative out here, building our audience is such a personal thing. For me it looks like sacrificing family time here and there to POST, POST, POST. Post reels and images at least every other day.. Post stories every single day. Engage with your audience! BE YOUR TRUE AUTHENTIC SELF!

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Honestly, Instagram. Surprisingly, creating a website where future clients can contact me through a more professional platform has been huge!
