Hi Brittani, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.

Travel has always been near to my heart as I have had the opportunity traveling starting at a very young age. I know the importance of experiencing things with your own senses firsthand. Life is hard. Life gets busy. I personally feel like travel should always be carved out into your schedule. Travel makes you happier. You are able to disconnect and recharge. It is proven to relive anxiety and stress. It also exposes you to new things and can even help your creativity. I always hear couples or parents mention how they wish they could travel. how they have been trying to plan trips for years but never get around to it, or simply are waiting for the “right time.” I truly enjoy helping others! It is definitely one of my strong suits. Before I started booking luxury travel professionally I was doing it for family and friends. I would listen to their reasons for not being able to plan or go on a vacation & then just do it for them. To witness the stress and time consuming process of planning a seamless vacation being lifted from them & the excitement they experienced while on vacation made me happy for them. I know how overwhelming it can be to balance life, so if I can step in and assist in such an impactful way…why not do it? And I wanted to do it for more than just family & friends.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

I help busy couples take much-needed vacations with AND without the kids, so they can rest, relax and reconnect. My clients are busy, time-starved parents pulled in multiple directions who desperately want to take a break to a new destination each year, but don’t have the time or wisdom to research and plan it. That’s where I come in. I bring my exceptional organization and planning skills, my project management genius, and my ability to tackle any challenge and combine that with my insider network of international travel connections to deliver family vacations that are fun, unique, relaxing and give my clients the break they so desire. My clients love that they don’t have to lift a finger and instead get to sit back, relax while I pull together all the bits, pieces, and moving parts to send them on a vacation chock full of indulgences, relaxation, new experiences, and meaningful memories. My clients return so happy that I was able to make their vacation dreams come true and excited for the next adventure.

What sets me apart:

I am a Travel Designer and not a Travel Agent. I work with my clients to design the perfect experience for them and revise and refine the itinerary until they are pleased.

I have many vendors that I work with that provide excellent service to me and my clients so l am able to find the perfect fit for my clients.

I also work as a Project Manager, assuring my clients that they are taken care of before, during, and after their trips. There is much work that goes on behind the scenes so my clients have a stress-free vacation. And you will always get ME working for YOU.

And as a business owner, I am passionate and I take pride in my work and make sure that my clients have a wonderful experience.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

Word of mouth!!! That is any business or brands best marketing strategy that does not cost. I started my business by launching it to family & friends. From there 90% of my business comes from referrals. The way you carry yourself with and around others matters. Your branding and online presence matters. Your communication matters. I execute each trip as if it were my own & it shows. When you do a great job your hard work speaks for you!

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

Being a business owner and putting yourself out there can be a little intimidating. You don’t have anyone to fall back on but yourself. This use to be an internal struggle but I have now used it to motivate myself & to give a 110% in whatever I do because I am representing not only myself but my business which I care deeply about. I typically refer to B Luxe Escapes as my “5th baby.” I have also learned better business practices when working with larger groups through my first year. I always try to take “negative” situations and find the learning lesson in it to grow.
