We recently connected with Brittani Noel and have shared our conversation below.
Brittani, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you tell us about a time where you or your team really helped a customer get an amazing result?
One of my favorite client transformations comes from a group of fabulous women known as “The Board Squad.” They came to me with a shared love of charcuterie, wine, and unfiltered conversation- and a dream of turning that into a business. Basically, my dream clients. But like many entrepreneurs, they felt stuck on how to show up on camera without feeling like they were just mimicking trends. They knew video could help them grow- but what kind of video? And how?
Through our work together, we uncovered that they- their humor, banter, and connection- were the secret sauce. So instead of forcing them into a video formula that didn’t fit, I coached them to lean into what made them magnetic. That led to “Charcuterie & Conversations,” a YouTube video podcast that captured their vibe perfectly: filming themselves building boards, drinking wine, and having the kind of honest, hilarious chats that make you wish you were at the table.
The result? Magic- the kind that even surprised me. From never having done a podcast to hosting live tapings with real-life guests, they turned video into a bridge between their personalities and their brand.
Now their video content is joyful, consistent, and unmistakably them- not just content for content’s sake, but the kind that actually builds community. And that’s exactly the kind of transformation I help clients create.
Brittani, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m an actor by trade, and I started my on-camera coaching business after realizing how often entrepreneurs- especially service providers and personal brands- are expected to show up on video without ever being taught how. These days, being the face of your brand often means being the voice, the body language, the energy- and video has become the most powerful way to build that kind of authentic connection with an audience. But what looks effortless when actors do it… is actually a skill. And I found that so many brilliant business owners were frustrated by how hard it felt.
Some of my clients were confident in their business but froze on camera. Others felt like their real-life charisma never quite translated on screen. And many were just trying to wing it- because we live in a “just post something” culture- but without clarity, strategy, or storytelling skills, they weren’t seeing results. That’s where I come in.
What sets my work apart is that I don’t push trends. I focus on helping each client uncover and amplify what’s real- their authentic voice, personality, and presence- and channel that into intentional, compelling video content. I use my actor’s lens to guide them not into performance, but into presence. Just like I approach a role by asking, “Who is this character if it’s me?” (credit to Brian Norris of the Norris Acting Studio on that one), I help entrepreneurs ask, “Who is this message if it’s truly me saying it?” That subtle shift unlocks a new level of clarity and confidence.
I work one-on-one with clients to not only make them look good on camera, but to feel grounded and magnetic while doing it. Because here’s the truth: the camera doesn’t lie. You can’t fake confidence- but when it’s real, it’s contagious. And what excites me most is that once clients tap into that version of themselves, it doesn’t just change how they show up on video. It ripples out into their whole business. Their messaging sharpens. Their energy lifts. They own their expertise with more ease and clarity. And that’s when everything starts clicking.
What I’m most proud of is that this work isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s deeply personal, and sessions are customized accordingly. I help clients find what makes them special- then show the world. And when that happens, video stops feeling like a chore and starts feeling like a powerful extension of who they are.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source of new clients for me, hands down, has been referrals and word of mouth. I built my business from scratch- not with ads or funnels, but by doing what I believe in most: authentic connection on camera. Since I coach entrepreneurs on showing up more confidently in their video marketing, I figured I should walk my talk. So I recorded short, personalized video messages for friends, letting them know what I was up to and asking if they knew anyone who might benefit from this kind of support.
I paired each message with a free one-hour on-camera confidence session they could pass along to someone who needed it- and people actually did. Many of those one-hour sessions turned into clients. From there, I continued to share client wins and testimonials to build momentum. It’s been a very human, very intentional way to grow- no gimmicks, no pressure- just real people seeing real results and telling their people about it.
It’s only now that I’m starting to layer in more structured strategies like list-building and digital funnels, but that foundation of trust and word-of-mouth has been everything. That’s also how I came about this interview!
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I think what’s helped me build my reputation in this space is leaning all the way into what makes me me. I come from a film and TV background as an actor, so instead of hiding that or keeping it separate, I’ve built my coaching approach around it. I bring the tools from my performer’s toolkit- presence, storytelling, emotional connection- and translate them into something that’s actually useful for entrepreneurs trying to communicate more clearly and confidently on camera.
What’s been really beautiful is how this “parallel career” has actually become a complementary one. Sharing my acting work doesn’t just support my creative life- it strengthens my brand as a coach. It gives people a reason to trust that I know what I’m talking about when it comes to being on-camera, because I live it.
I built my reputation the same way I help my clients show up: with real presence, a clear voice, and no “acting” required- even though I’m technically an actor. And with every client who grows more confident, creates better content, or finally feels like themselves on camera- word spreads.
