Alright, Britney thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
Britney Jones is a talented alkaline vegan chef promoting good health across the United States. Her journey to a healthier lifestyle began when one of her daughters was diagnosed with a severe case of eczema. After researching, Britney soon came to understand the importance of gut health in treating her daughter’s condition. From there, she and her family committed to an alkaline vegan diet, which rid her daughter of eczema, and never looked back. As the talented chef studied further, she noticed how many of the foods deemed as healthy were still causing harm because they were filled with mucus proliferating ingredients like starch, meat, dairy, soy, and gluten. Britney combined her newfound understanding with her passion to bring health back to the community and birthed Vegalicious! Britney specializes in Alkaline Vegan Raw and cooked veggie superfood cuisine. As a mother of five, she is committed to using food good for the whole family. Vegalicious was established in January 2021 specializing in 100 % Alkaline Vegan Raw and Cooked Cuisine, Meal Preps, Catering, Educational Cooking Classes, in-home Private Chef, Sea Moss Desserts, and jarred Alkaline Vegan Cheese. We pride ourselves on holistic health. We are free of all mucus proliferating ingredients like soy, dairy, meat, gluten, preservatives, and starch to help cleanse and rid the body of current and onset diseases, bringing the body back to homeostasis. All of our ingredients are electric, low in acid, and sit on a ph scale of 7.4 or higher. If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
Absolutely! As a child, I always dreamed of becoming a cosmetic plastic surgeon to help bring back confidence to those disfigured from car wrecks, house fires, deformities, etc. I have always had a passion for helping others feel their best physically, mentally, and emotionally. I have participated in programs, such as YLACD – Young Ladies Anointed and Chosen for Distinction, where I helped mentor young ladies in a yearly beauty pageant about poise, confidence, loving themselves, being leaders, and being a lady of virtue. Naturally, I am a woman with high morals and spiritual faith. Having the gift to pour back into others through the keys to a healthy life was truly heaven sent.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
My most effective strategy for growing my clientele would have to be through presentation and quality ingredients. The first thing we do as a people is eat with our eyes first and then the taste follows thereafter. Combining these two tactics takes the hardship away of people eating their veggies. I configure food created for the soul! I eliminate all the mucus proliferating without compromising the goal of a delectable dish.
