We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Britash Wilson. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Britash below.
Hi Britash, thanks for joining us today. One of the toughest things about entrepreneurship is that there is almost always unexpected problems that come up – problems that you often can’t read about in advance, can’t prepare for, etc. Have you had such and experience and if so, can you tell us the story of one of those unexpected problems you’ve encountered?
My instagram account was deleted several times. I first got deleted at 4,000 followers, then 9,500 followers, and again at 3,500. My new instagram is @brisclothingcollection, I had the page for only 3 weeks and it’s now at 3,500 followers. If this would’ve never happened I could’ve been at 20,000+ followers. This was so devastating having to start over so many times.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I launched Briiboutique in March of 2020. I started out with only 3 ethika sets. Ive always wanted to own my own business and in middle school I would resale candy and slimes. I started out small and would deliver clothes to people’s houses. Going fully online with my boutique was the best decision I’ve made. I have shipped over 2000 orders out and I specialize in reselling purses, clothing, and shoes. I am the most proud of how much dedication and hard work I invest into my business. My grandmother is my first and only employee and she packages all the orders. To support please download my mobile app briiboutiquellc. This is one of my biggest accomplishments as a small business owner.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
I communicate with my customers via Instagram, twitter, TikTok, and through email! I build loyalty by offering deals, partnering with brand ambsaddors, and offering loyalty points.
Can you open up about how you funded your business?
I started out with only $100 and 3 ethika clothing sets. I was only 16 and employed part time at Panera bread. I started adding a few more products and introducing pre orders. So customers would order products and I would get them shipped in 1-2 weeks. After he passed it really encouraged me to work harder and invest in my business
