Brionna, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you scale up? What were the strategies, tactics, meaningful moments, twists/turns, obstacles, mistakes along the way? The world needs to hear more realistic, actionable stories about this critical part of the business building journey. Tell us your scaling up story – bring us along so we can understand what it was like making the decisions you had, implementing the strategies/tactics etc.

I scaled up with my business by constantly posting on social media, taking behind the scene photos, interacting with the community and attending continued education/ training courses. Social media has become such a huge benefit for small business owners by reaching people from all over… When you continuously post on social media it gets your name out there and allows potential clients to see your work. Nobody wants to book a service with unknown results!

Hi, I’m Brionna, your #1 hype girl! I’m a traveling makeup artist in the Tampa Bay Area & bridal is my specialty!

My love for makeup started at a young age. I would do makeup on everybody and anybody that I could!
I love helping people and making them feel beautiful..which led me to my other passion,
Occupational Therapy.

I have been working in the makeup industry for over 7 years. Serving my clients and making them feel special has truly been the best experience! I have built such amazing relationships and gained so many loyal clients.

How did you build your audience on social media?

I built my social media by continuously posting before & after photos, using hashtags, posting content literally everyday & interacting with other MUA!

What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?

My “side hustle” turned into a PASSION and career. I work full time in occupational therapy Monday – Friday and I do bridal makeup on Saturdays and Sundays!
