Today we’d like to introduce you to BriGuel .
Hi BriGuel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We are BriGuel, Brianne and Miguel. We are a duo on a mission to harmonize humanity through film and music, the 2 most inspiring mediums in the world. We met nearly a decade ago on a project and combined our (now) more than 3 decades worth of experience – and haven’t left each others’ side since. Today we operate a fully operational one-stop-shop production company and have the absolute pleasure to work on inspiring, impactful film and music projects daily.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has been like any other: filled with highs and lows; challenges and flows. Thankfully since 2019 we have had non-stop projects in the pipeline, and all of our challenges have only made us stronger and wiser. So we are grateful, surely.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Since 2019 we have been working primarily on documentaries, which we love. Most recently we wrote, directed, produced, edited and composed the music for All Arts TV: Arts Lab: The HeART of Democracy, a 1/2 hour documentary about what is democracy from an Artists’ point of view. We are proud of all of our work and especially proud of our growth over the years – and that we’ve been able to accomplish so much with a micro team. We love what we do and feel that the BriGuel style is unique, in storytelling, directing, writing, editing and music composition. You’ll have to see it to know what we mean :)
How do you think about happiness?
Our life makes us happy. We do what we love, with the person we love the most, and we are able to create daily while also raising our 2 beautiful daughters. We have found a perfect balance between home life and work life – even if that means returning to work at 8pm after bedtime to squeeze extra hours into the work day. We are very grateful for our existence!
