Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to BriGuel. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

BriGuel, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?

Firstly, thank you so much for having BriGuel as part of this amazing community. We are honored to be involved.

Our name is pretty straightforward: we are a duo comprised of Brianne (Bri) and Miguel (Guel). However we’re best represented as the unity BriGuel: creative partners, life partners, business owners and artists. A unique fusion of multiple aspects.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

BriGuel is a duo on a mission to harmonize humanity through film and music. We celebrate diversity everyday and use our skills to bring humanity together through impactful storytelling. We’re profoundly grateful to create daily, both for clients and personal projects, producing projects from inception to delivery. Since 2016, we produce a myriad of projects ranging from feature films and documentaries to music videos and corporate pieces. We uniquely handle all aspects of production, from creative ideas and writing to direction, production, editing and composing music; and while many of our projects require all of these tasks, we also work on some projects just for single tasks like production, editing or music composition. We are most proud of each other, our work, and our beautiful daughters. As we are both descendants of Holocaust Survivors, we feel it’s of utmost importance to use our platform to put more light into the world, and we do this through our creations. Synchronistically, 95% of the work we’re hired to produce aligns with this mission and desire.

Any advice for managing a team?

We believe that every team member is as important as the CEO, and every position is valuable. Therefore we treat everyone with respect and gratitude. We also make sure each team member feels taken care-of and respected. This in turn creates a balance within the team so that everyone performs their best. It’s a win win win all around! We all do great work, everyone feels amazing, and the product is successful. Thus if you want to maintain high morale, feel good, help others feel good and take actions based on what makes you feel your best.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

To create everyday is a true blessing. The process of building a business around our creativity took time to nurture, but we can’t think of anything more fulfilling and exciting. Additionally, we get to do what we love the most with the person we love the most (plus our daughters). So what more could we ask for !? If you think of it, we humans are all artists, all creative – we are creating every moment of every day! And for us, for BriGuel, we simply extend that creativity to the most powerful, connective art forms: film and music.
