We were lucky to catch up with Brigitte St-Jean recently and have shared our conversation below.
Brigitte, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
For years, I did everything I was “supposed” to do. I built a solid career in the private sector, working in the environmental field, and later transitioned to the public sector where I became a dedicated public servant. I worked hard, climbed the ladder, and took pride in doing things well. On paper, everything looked fine — but inside, I was running on empty.
Over time, I had become the go-to person at work — capable, reliable, the one everyone counted on. I applied for several acting opportunities over the years, each time hoping to grow, to expand, to finally move forward. Every single one was denied. But the one I really wanted — the one that could have truly moved the needle for me — was refused yet again. My request wasn’t denied because I wasn’t qualified; it was because they didn’t want to lose me. I was too useful right where I was.
That was the moment something in me shifted. I realized I was giving all of my time, energy, and creativity to a system that didn’t truly see me — not for who I was or what I was capable of. I felt overworked, undervalued, and disconnected from any sense of meaning. The resentment built quietly at first… until I could no longer silence it.
Eventually, the exhaustion and disillusionment became too heavy to carry. I went through cycles of burnout and depression, feeling like I was just existing on autopilot — doing what was expected but feeling empty inside. In my search for answers, I turned inward. I began exploring energy work and healing, something I had always believed in but had lost touch with amid the noise of daily life. Slowly, I began to reconnect with my own power and remember that life responds to frequency — to the energy we bring to it.
During that time, I was contacted by the Brave Thinking Institute about a certification program to become a Life Coach. They were talking about paradigms — about how we are energetic beings first before we are physical — and everything in me lit up. It was as if someone was articulating what I had always known. They referenced Bob Proctor, Mary Morrissey, and Raymond Holliwell’s Working with the Law, and I felt an instant recognition: This is it. I knew I was meant to find this training.
So I took a leap of faith. I got certified, and as I began coaching, I realized that this wasn’t just a new career — it was a calling. I was helping people reconnect to themselves, to remember their creative power, and to consciously build lives that reflect who they truly are.
At first, I thought my ideal clients were professional women like me — high-achievers working through unconscious worthiness patterns. But as I grew, I noticed that my deepest passion wasn’t just about success or career; it was about conscious evolution. I was being called to help women awaken — to guide them from autopilot to alignment.
That realization became the foundation of my business: UPFrequency Coaching.
The name itself reflects what I believe — that when we raise our frequency, we change the reality we live in.
I knew this was a worthwhile endeavor because I had lived the transformation myself. I had experienced firsthand how shifting your energy, perspective, and beliefs can change everything. And I saw how many women around me were still stuck in the old paradigm — exhausted, disconnected, and trying to earn their worth through doing instead of being.
What excited me most was that I wasn’t just teaching information — I was offering transformation. My work blends science and spirituality, the Universal Laws and modern coaching, to create a bridge between the energetic and the practical. It’s an approach that helps women not only dream of a new life but embody it.
In many ways, my business was born from both a personal awakening and a global one — a shift in consciousness that so many are feeling today.
And that’s why I knew this work would matter: because it speaks to something universal — the desire to live fully, freely, and in alignment with who we truly are.

Brigitte, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Brigitte St-Jean, and I’m a Life Transformation Coach and Speaker, as well as the founder of UPFrequency Coaching — a heart-centered coaching practice designed to help midlife women break free from autopilot living and step into alignment with their soul’s truth.
I spent over two decades building careers in both the private and public sectors, primarily in the environmental field and as a government professional. By all external measures, I was successful — but deep down, I was exhausted, disconnected, and living a life that no longer felt like mine. After years of burnout and frustration, I began a personal healing journey that reconnected me with something I had long forgotten: that we are energetic beings first, and the energy we carry shapes our entire reality.
That awakening inspired me to follow a completely new path. I trained with the Brave Thinking Institute, became a Certified DreamBuilder® Coach, Life Mastery Consultant™, and Belief Clearing Practitioner, and began guiding others through the same kind of transformation that changed my own life.
Through UPFrequency Coaching, I offer transformational coaching programs designed to help women move from autopilot to alignment — reconnecting with their inner clarity, confidence, and creative power. My flagship program, DreamBuilder Elevate, is a 12-week journey that helps women design a life they love, and my advanced programs like Life Mastery and my upcoming Ascension-based offerings take that transformation even deeper.
What sets my work apart is that it’s grounded in the principles of the New Paradigm — a shift in consciousness where science, spirituality, and personal transformation meet. My coaching bridges universal laws from Raymond Holliwell’s Working with the Law, insights from quantum physics and neuroscience, and the energetic understanding that we are creators of our reality. Transformation, to me, isn’t just about mindset — it’s about frequency. I guide women to move beyond intellectual understanding and embody these truths energetically, so that their thoughts, emotions, and vibration become aligned with the life they desire. When they raise their inner frequency, their outer world naturally reorganizes to match it.
The women I serve are often living on autopilot — moving through their days feeling exhausted, disconnected, and unfulfilled. They’re going through the motions without much vitality, not deeply satisfied with the life they’ve built — a life they once expected would bring them joy, fulfillment, and a lasting sense of purpose. But it doesn’t feel that way. Deep down, they’re yearning to feel alive again — to experience joy, fulfillment, and meaning that light them up from within. They long to live in that higher vibration where they feel good about themselves, full of energy, and deeply confident because they’re finally aligned with their soul.
Through my coaching, I guide them from autopilot to alignment using the principles and strategies of the new paradigm — a way of being grounded in the understanding that we are energetic, conscious beings living in an interconnected universe. My work integrates concepts from quantum physics, neuroscience, and the science of consciousness to help women elevate their frequency, transform their inner patterns, and create a life that feels vibrant, authentic, and deeply aligned.
What I’m most proud of is witnessing the ripple effect of this work — seeing women rediscover their joy, awaken their inner confidence, and begin consciously creating lives that reflect who they truly are at the soul level. It’s not about becoming someone new; it’s about remembering their true essence — the luminous, creative being that has always been there beneath the conditioning, the fear, and the old programming. When a woman reconnects with that truth, her energy shifts — and that shift ripples outward, touching her relationships, her work, and even the collective field around her.
At its core, UPFrequency Coaching is about living from the New Paradigm — a higher state of consciousness where we understand that everything is energy, and we are both the observer and the creator of our reality. It’s about moving from condition-based living to vision-based living, where we no longer react to circumstances but generate them from within. In this paradigm, alignment isn’t something we chase — it’s something we embody.
When we live in coherence with our heart, our thoughts, and our energy, we naturally co-create with the universe. Living in this way is not an ideal; it’s a frequency — a way of being that brings harmony, purpose, and expansion into every area of life.
What I want potential clients and readers to know is this: transformation is not only possible — it’s natural when we align with the truth of who we are. No matter how long you’ve been on autopilot, you have the power to shift your frequency, to reclaim your creative energy, and to consciously design a life that reflects your soul’s highest expression. You are not meant to simply survive this life — you are meant to expand within it. When you remember that you are both energy and consciousness, you step into your role as a co-creator with the Universe — and that changes everything.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
The biggest lesson I had to unlearn was that my worth was tied to how much I did, how much I achieved, or how useful I was to others — key words: to others. For most of my life, I lived from that old paradigm — the belief that hard work, control, and constant doing were the path to success, fulfillment, and most importantly, to being loved. Not only did I think my value was linked to my capacity, but my lovability was tied to what and how much I could do — to prove myself worthy.
I spent years building solid careers in both the private and public sectors, always striving to do more, be more, and prove myself. I was the person everyone could count on — and so everyone loved to count on me. I felt valued, but not truly seen. I gave my all, kept saying yes even when I was exhausted, and over time that pattern took its toll. I found myself drained, resentful, and quietly wondering, “Is this really what life is supposed to feel like?”
Other questions followed: I do all this for them — why can’t they allow me this opportunity? I give so much — why don’t they respect me more? Why isn’t this leading where it should? I expected that all my effort would earn me love, recognition, and permission to reach my highest potential. But that’s not what happened.
What I’ve come to realize — and what I now teach — is that this “doing for worth” mindset is one of the great illusions of the old paradigm. It keeps us chasing external validation while disconnecting us from our true essence and our intrinsic value. The burnout I experienced wasn’t just physical; it was spiritual. It was my soul’s way of saying, You’ve forgotten who you are. You’ve forgotten your power — you are an energetic being capable of creating and shaping your physical experience.
The unlearning began when I started exploring energy work and consciousness. I began to understand that I am not my productivity — I am energy, frequency, and awareness. The moment I stopped measuring my value by what I produced and started aligning my energy with who I truly am, everything began to change. My vitality returned, inspiration flowed, and I experienced a deep peace I hadn’t known in years.
And let me tell you — this was not an overnight process. Just understanding it was a great feat, but to embody it was the true marvel — a quantum leap. Changing conditioning and programming changes everything. That’s the space where the real shift begins, and it’s the space I now hold for my clients.
That shift — from proving to allowing, from striving to aligning — became the foundation of my work. Through UPFrequency Coaching, I now guide women through that same transformation. I help them unlearn the old paradigm belief that their worth depends on doing and instead embody a new way of being — one rooted in alignment, frequency, and conscious co-creation.
Unlearning that lesson didn’t just change my life; it redefined it. It showed me that true success isn’t something we chase — it’s something we align with. That unlearning is what led me into my own alignment — and ultimately, into the work I was born to do.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
There have been several moments in my life when I had to call upon deep resilience. One of the most pivotal was a day I will never forget — the day I hit rock bottom.
I remember sitting on the floor in my basement, tears streaming down my face, feeling completely empty. I was burned out, exhausted, and at the end of my rope. Everything I had built — the career, the structure, the image of success — felt meaningless. As I sat there crying, I asked myself, How did my life become this? Is this it for me?
And then, in the middle of that despair, a memory from my early adult life suddenly came back to me. I saw myself at about twenty, looking out toward the horizon under a bright sun, saying with full conviction, “My life is going to be great.” In that instant, I felt that same energy again — the calm, safe, hopeful certainty of that younger self. It was as if my soul was whispering, The light at the end of the tunnel is close. The tunnel is ending, and a brighter day is coming. It was a miracle — a moment of grace.
That memory became the spark that helped me climb out of depression. I found the strength to rebuild myself and my life. Back then, resilience meant pushing through — enduring pain and finding a way forward despite the obstacles. It was about surviving, and that got me to the other side.
But years later, I discovered that resilience could mean something different. When I could no longer tolerate the resentment and misalignment in my government career, I faced another breaking point. I knew I couldn’t stay silent or keep betraying my own truth. Leaving the security of that job to follow my calling as a coach was terrifying. Everyone around me — except for a few fellow coaches — told me not to do it, to stay safe, to wait. But my soul was clear: It’s time.
The fear was intense. I had anxiety, heart palpitations, sleepless nights — my conditioning was screaming for safety and familiarity. But I also knew that staying would cost me my vitality and spirit. So I chose to leap anyway.
That decision — to trust my inner knowing over my conditioning — redefined what resilience means to me. It’s no longer about enduring hardship; it’s about staying in alignment even when fear tries to pull you back. It’s about allowing the old to die so the new can emerge.
Today, I understand resilience as the ability to recalibrate your energy when life feels uncertain — to return again and again to alignment with who you truly are. Because when we do that, we don’t just survive… we transform.
