Bridgette, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

The world as we know it is crumbling. By most accounts, this would be terrifying news. But to those of us called to be coaches, healers and guides – this is our time to serve and shine!

As founder of Bridgette Simmonds International, my personal development organization our heart’s mission is to be a light and loving support in the evolution of our human experience.

In a world teetering on the brink of transformation, where the foundations of society tremble and traditional norms dissolve, there exists a profound opportunity for renewal and rebirth. In the midst of chaos, there are those who hear a call echoing in their souls—a call to be the guides, the healers, the beacons of light in the darkness.

As a coach and speaker, I’ve witnessed firsthand the seismic shifts rippling through every facet of our existence. From health crises to political upheavals, from economic uncertainty to societal unrest, the very fabric of our world seems to be unraveling before our eyes. Who wouldn’t be terrified?

Yet, in the midst of this upheaval, I feel a stirring in my soul—a deep knowing that we who are called to be coaches, guides, and healers are uniquely qualified to navigate this turbulent terrain and shape the emergence of a powerful new world.

For too long, our society has been built on foundations of fear, division, and scarcity. But as the old structures crumble and the familiar pathways disintegrate, there arises an opportunity to cultivate a new paradigm—one grounded in love, unity, and abundance. It is a time for radical reimagining, for daring to dream of a world where every individual is seen, heard, and valued; where compassion and connection reign supreme; where collaboration supersedes competition.

As coaches and healers, we possess a rare gift—the ability to hold space for transformation, to accompany others on their journey of self-discovery and empowerment, to facilitate healing and growth in the face of adversity. We are the custodians of hope, the architects of possibility, the guardians of the human spirit.

Feeling trapped in a lucrative but unfulfilling corporate job, I couldn’t shake the nagging sense that there must be more to life. Then, unexpectedly laid off, I embarked on a journey to find that elusive “more” and stumbled upon coaching. Guiding coaches and leaders from ideation to realization ignited a sense of purpose unlike anything I’d felt in the confines of a 9 to 5.

At Bridgette Simmonds Int’l, we specialize in keynote speaking, creating curating immersive experiences—retreats, masterminds, and digital courses—that empower coaches and leaders worldwide to harness the power of vision and mindset for effortless goal attainment. Our transformative approach not only energizes rooms but also leaves lasting impacts, as one client put it: “Revolutionary and eye-opening, reinforcing truths we often overlook.”

Specializing in personal development and human transformation, we take pride in the ripple effect generated by our work, lifting clients to new heights from wherever they currently stand. Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.

I launched my coaching business alongside my 15-year corporate career, craving more fulfillment and freedom. It was crucial for me to ensure financial stability before taking the leap, so I maintained my job while nurturing my coaching practice during nights and weekends and any spare moment I could find to feed my budding passion. To speed up my success, I hired a coach – as all great coaches do to help me craft my exit strategy from the corporate world.

Balancing work and passion, I diligently saved and scaled my business organically, even cutting expenses like cable to invest in my dream. As my client base grew and my services matured, I reached key milestones: embracing imperfection, seeking support, setting clear financial goals, and ultimately taking the leap into full-time coaching.

Yet, even with preparation, the leap was nerve-wracking—an exhilarating part of the journey. So, to anyone considering a bold move, know that nerves are natural. It’s all part of the adventure toward realizing your dreams.

I have a list of notable books that significantly impacted (and still impact) my mindset as a coach business owner and speaker.
