We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Bridgetta Tomarchio a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Bridgetta , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to start by getting your thoughts on what you are seeing as some the biggest trends emerging in your industry.
I work mostly with coaches, speakers, leaders, celebrities, and influencers who are making a mark for change in the world. The market is CONSTANTLY changing and keeping up with it can be hard! Right now websites have changed from where there were a few yrs ago to now. It’s important to keep up with the times and evolve your site. ESPECIALLY if you’re a speaker, coach, or leader offering services. People’s attention spans are even worse and if your niche and the problem you solve aren’t stated immediately on a site- poof you’ve lost them. AI is a new big thing, and automating messages, pop-ups, and funnels.
Another trend is that publishing a book puts you on another level entirely so you’re seeing more people doing so.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am a serial entrepreneur or Soulprenher as I call it, former actress, model & host, and now celebrity publicist and book coach. I understand the entrepreneurial spirit and leverage my big business know-how into success. I was raised in a big-business, entrepreneurial family, and started my own publicity firm in 2007: Wadjet PR.
I’ve starred in numerous films and shows (Californication, Project My World) and appeared in campaigns for some of the most iconic brands in the world, such as Harley Davidson, Extenze, Axe Bodywash, and more. My transition to full-time work behind the screen has resulted in roles as a publicist, business consultant, and producer to numerous A-list celebrities, and as a consultant to companies large and small. Val Kilmer has been a major mentor in my career. I have endless knowledge of the media and entertainment industry, as well as the publishing world, and ensure the success of my clientele and projects.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I’ve worked in the entertainment industry almost my entire life. I feel since I’ve been on all sides of the camera: actor, model, producer, casting director, assistant, etc. I’ve been the client and I have clients. It helps me to understand & connect more to a clients’ needs. I adapt to the ever changing times & am up to date on what clients need to be setup to succeed.
The biggest is walking your talk. ACTUALLY doing what you say you’re going to do is clutch. I’ve gotten my clients booked on such publications as GMA, Today Show, Vogue, Vanity Fair, and so much more. Our actions speak louder than the words. My book coaching clients have gotten major deals with publishers such as Simon & Schuster and more.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
With my coaching clients, we meet weekly & they’re given assignments to complete before the next call. It allows us to. move quickly through the process. I have all of my clients on an app called Voxer. It’s an amazing (free) app that is on your phone and computer and it makes communication between calls easier. It has a talk button (like a walkie talkie) where clients can speak ideas, downloads, and questions and I respond when I can.
My PR clients- we have monthly call check-ins and they too are on Voxer.
