We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Bridgett White. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Bridgett below.
Bridgett, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
I want to be remembered as hard-working, dedicated, and loyal. I have always had a passion for serving, leading, and engaging with people to see the best in themselves. One thing I love about photography is I get to capture someone’s authentic beauty. It brings my heart joy to capture everyone in their element based on what really makes them smile behind the camera or capture moments that mean so much to them in their life. I want every photo I deliver to showcase that person in their own unique and beautiful way. The world is full of so much darkness, I want to be remembered for being a light.

Bridgett, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I have been doing photography professionally now for 4 years. When I was younger I loved taking photos and capturing the world around me. I started out just taking photos for fun until I realized this was more than just a hobby to me. It’s a full-blown passion of mine.
The types of photography sessions I provide are branding, lifestyle, events, sports, weddings, real estate, and much more.
I want to take the weight off of my client’s shoulders by capturing every moment of their big day.
My work goes far beyond just taking photos. At the end of the day, I want to be someone my client can count on and trust with any of their ideas. This comes with building a relationship with my clients so they are able to trust me and my ability for all future projects.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I used to strategize so much on what I was going to post, and how I was going to post it, to the point it was overwhelming. It wasn’t until I let go and started having fun with my work that people started engaging and wanting to see more. People notice when you are confident in what you’re posting. Get creative and showcase your work how you want it to be seen! Consistency and quality are key.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
I listen to a lot of podcasts. A few of my favorite people to listen to are Inky Johnson, Matthew McConaughey, Eric Thomas, and Ed Mylett. I recently read Viola Davis’ book, Finding Me: A Memoir. Reading about her journey to get to where she is today was so inspiring for me as well.
