Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bridget INgram. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Bridget , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you take vacations? Why or why not?
Absolutely—I prioritize taking vacations and schedule at least two each year. As a strong advocate for self-care, I believe stepping away from your business, even briefly, is essential for maintaining clarity, creativity, and overall well-being.
As entrepreneurs, we often wear multiple hats, but burnout doesn’t serve our clients or our mission. Planning time away allows me to return more focused, refreshed, and ready to serve at a higher level. And if an extended trip isn’t feasible, I recommend a local staycation—a weekend at a nearby hotel or wellness retreat can do wonders.
The key is to build systems, delegate effectively, and trust your team so your business can operate smoothly in your absence. Rest is not a reward—it’s a necessary part of success.

Bridget , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hello! I’m Bridget Ingram—Real Estate Broker, Tax Professional, Notary Public, and proud owner of B. Ingram Realty and Allegiance Tax Service, based in the heart of Cerritos, California. With over 24 years of experience in the real estate industry and more than three decades as a business owner, I’ve built a career rooted in service, empowerment, and integrity.
My journey began in real estate after years of watching families struggle through the homebuying process without the proper guidance. I wanted to be that trusted resource—the one who listens, educates, and advocates for my clients from beginning to end. After four determined attempts, I earned my broker’s license and launched my boutique brokerage, B. Ingram Realty, where I specialize in helping first-time homebuyers, downsizers, and sellers looking for a fresh start—including those facing foreclosures, expired listings, or navigating FSBO (For Sale By Owner) challenges.
In addition to real estate, I’m also a licensed tax professional and the founder of Allegiance Tax Service. My work extends beyond tax preparation—I help small business owners and real estate professionals with strategic tax planning, LLC formation, and solutions to minimize their tax liability legally and effectively.
What sets me apart is my ability to bring empathy and strategy together. I’m not just here for the transaction; I’m here for the transformation. I’m known for my honesty, professionalism, and tireless work ethic—but more than that, I’m a mentor, a community advocate, and a faith-filled leader who believes in lifting others as I climb.
I’m most proud of the impact I’ve made mentoring new agents, leading industry organizations like the Women’s Council of Realtors South Bay, and launching the Blaque Empress Foundation, which supports underserved young women through mentorship, mental health advocacy, and leadership development.
At the core of everything I do—whether in real estate, tax services, or non-profit work—is a deep desire to educate, empower, and serve. I want people to know that with the right support, information, and mindset, they can own property, build wealth, and create a legacy.
If you’re looking for someone who will go the extra mile, advocate for your goals, and treat your dreams like they matter (because they do!), then I’m your person. Let’s grow, build, and succeed—together.

Can you talk to us about how you funded your business?
My journey into entrepreneurship is rooted in both legacy and personal investment. I inherited my tax business, Allegiance Tax Service, from my father—a foundation built on trust and service. While I didn’t need to raise traditional capital for that venture, I poured my time, passion, and energy into growing it from a small operation into a thriving practice serving over 400 clients. That growth came organically through word-of-mouth, exceptional service, and a commitment to educating and empowering my community.
On the real estate side, launching my brokerage, B. Ingram Realty, was a different story. I started the company completely with my own funds—no loans, no investors—just grit, determination, and a vision. I believed in creating a boutique firm that truly puts people first. That meant investing in branding, marketing, training, and technology—all while mentoring agents and helping clients navigate the biggest financial decisions of their lives.
Both businesses reflect my core values: service, integrity, and empowerment. I’m proud of the journey, proud of the growth, and proud to be building a legacy that’s rooted in faith and fueled by purpose

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I believe my reputation was built on consistency, visibility, and genuine connection. I make it a priority to show up—not just for business, but for people. Whether it’s attending industry events, supporting my peers, volunteering in the community, or mentoring others, I believe in being present and adding value wherever I go.
Networking has played a big role, but it’s not just about handing out business cards—it’s about building relationships rooted in trust and mutual respect. I support others without expecting anything in return, and I stay active in the organizations and causes that matter to me and my clients.
Over time, people begin to associate my name not just with real estate and tax services, but with integrity, service, and results. I’ve learned that when you lead with authenticity and serve with heart, your reputation speaks for itself.
