Brianna , appreciate you joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
I believe there is a formula to success and within that formula things can be replaced and/or added on to. Success is a personal journey and is defined differently by each individual. Throughout my life journey thus far, I have learned about my own success through the observation of others. To achieve success, it takes consistency, dedication, knowledge, focus, awareness, accountability, a plan, wellness, discipline, skill, faith, open-mindedness, and hard work.
Brianna , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
As a passionate entrepreneur and a God-fearing women, I set a goal and never looked back. I turned my skills, degrees, knowledge, and experiences into income. My job is to help ambitious career seekers and business owners land more fulfilling opportunities. I am the owner of a career and business consulting company, Brianna Watts Consulting and Services. My company specializes in resume writing, interview preparation, job search coaching, public speaking, business strategy, and etc. Since 2018, I have helped hundreds of job seekers generate wealth, increase their income, become homeowners, purchase their dream car, switch careers, and further their education through career services. I am most proud to say that my resume writing skills, interviewing preparation, and job search coaching has contributed to multiple clients landing 6-figure salaries, tech roles, homeownership, breaking into their intended industry, enter new tax brackets, and more. It’s important to me that potential clients understand the power of investing in themselves, knowing how far a well-written resume and LinkedIn profile can take them, and that networking is also the key to landing the career of your dreams.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
My personal brand, character, education, and client’s success has helped me build my reputation within my market. I constantly seek training, resources, and opportunities to perfect and develop my craft to better serve my clients. When the people on social media witness my growth, success, and client testimonies, they cling to my brand, follow my journey, and endorse my brand through referral, patronizing my business, or simply sending words of encouragement that they are rooting for my success.
Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
I listen to business and faith podcasts on a daily basis. Whatever skill or answer I am seeking, I find a reputable podcast to listen to learn from and implement in my business or spiritual walk. Books like SOAR! by T.D. Jakes, What I know for sure by Oprah, More Than Enough by Elaine Welteroth, We Should all be Millionaires by Rachel Rodgers, Hustle Harder, Hustle Smart by Curtis 50 Cent Jackson, The Perfect Day to Boss Up by Rick Ross are books that have significantly impacted my entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy. Taking up certifications, certificates, and research online also guides my journey as a business owner.
