We recently connected with Brianna Eisman and have shared our conversation below.
Brianna, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to start by getting your thoughts on what you are seeing as some the biggest trends emerging in your industry
A major challenge to traditional artists is the growth of artificial intelligence in the art world, I personally believe AI art is a new and exciting field that is rapidly growing and evolving. While it presents new opportunities and challenges for traditional artists, it is clear that AI art is here to stay. Whether traditional artists choose to embrace AI as a tool for creativity or view it as a menace and threat to their livelihoods, there is no doubt that AI will have a significant impact on the art world in the years to come.
On the one hand, AI art presents new opportunities for artists to experiment with new techniques and styles. Artists can use AI to generate unique and inspiring ideas, or to create artworks that would be difficult or impossible to produce manually. For example, an artist could use AI to research images pieced together as a reference image as the basis for a new painting or sculpture.
On the other hand, art made with artificial intelligence also presents new challenges for traditional artists. With the rise of AI art, there is a risk that traditional art forms may become less relevant or even obsolete. If AI can generate images and other artworks with a high degree of accuracy and creativity, why would people need to commission traditional artists? This is a question that many artists and art enthusiasts are grappling with.
Another challenge for traditional artists is the potential loss of creativity and originality. If an artist relies too heavily on AI to generate ideas and inspiration, their work may become formulaic and predictable. There is also a risk that AI-generated artworks may become too similar to each other, leading to a lack of diversity and innovation in the art world.
Despite these challenges, many traditional artists are embracing artificial intelligence art as a new tool in their creative arsenal. Some artists use AI to generate new ideas and inspirations, while others are using AI to enhance their existing artworks. For example, an artist could use AI to analyze the colors and patterns in their paintings and then use that data to create a new series of paintings with a similar aesthetic.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hi, I’m Brianna Eisman and I am the founder and CEO of Artsy Drawings. I started creating artwork when I was about 6 years old, like most people, with bad crayon drawings and crummy clay pots. From there, I attended arts magnet schools from Kindergarten through High School. Next, I received my undergraduate degree in Marketing with minors in Leadership, Digital Marketing and Analytics, and Interdisciplinary Honors. I received my Masters of Science degree in Business Analytics.
Visual arts is a huge part of my life. I continue to use visual aesthetics and creative thinking to leverage my passion for art in my analytical career. I also still paint, draw and practice photography as much as I can.
Artsy Drawings is many things. It started out as my personal online gallery and a platform to share my visual artwork. Since its inception in 2020, Artsy Drawings has grown immensely, and so has my knowledge of how to develop, design and promote a website. Today, you’ll find Artsy Drawings has many features including a gallery, articles about creating art, improving design, and art news, and a shop where you can purchase available art, or commission artwork for yourself or a friend.
The purpose of this endeavor is to grow my following as a leader in the art community by providing artistic advice, using personal experiences to explain techniques, and bringing together artists and small businesses.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Growing an audience is difficult in any industry. The best advice I can give is be your most real self. Celebrate your highs and be honest about your lows. My audience started from friends and family who wanted to support my art growth, and it has grown to people across the world cheering me on every step of the way.
Strategy wise, I suggest being open to new opportunities and to try different platforms to see what works, and what doesn’t, A/B testing is a great marketing strategy to test different factors that may impact performance. Likewise, don’t be afraid to quit a strategy if you find it doesn’t work in your favor. You have to be open to both successful strategies, and ones that simply don’t work for you and your business.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
To keep in touch with clients and supporters, I created a monthly newsletter for Artsy Drawings. I share recent artwork, collaborations with other artists, and advertisements for new articles on my blog. This tool has been really great to reach a select group of followers and strengthen the bonds with my closest supporters.
