Alright, Briana thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
My parents raised me to understand the importance and value of life. I grew up with a strong sense of self, which makes me secure in my emotions. This gave me a unique perspective on my career, allowing me, even at a young age, to comprehend both the business and emotional aspects of the entertainment industry. Beyond work, I have learned to communicate effectively and manage my life efficiently. They also taught me how to handle my finances and navigate the world positively, both mentally and emotionally.
Briana, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I got into the industry by being myself—someone passionate, creative, intuitive, and emotional. From a young age, I felt an undeniable attachment to performing. The world was my stage, and in my everyday life, my family, friends, and teachers were my audience. By simply being authentically myself, my parents noticed my natural attraction to performing, and my family encouraged it.
Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work on many amazing projects in my careers as an actress and model. Playing different characters and embodying people in various moments of life brings me so much joy.
I recently wrapped a project in my favorite genre, horror. It’s an incredible movie called Weep, where I got to experience thrilling moments as my character, Hope. I’m so excited for you all to meet her!
In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
I believe society should actively support artists by engaging with their pages on social media, such as liking, commenting, and sharing their posts. Additionally, purchasing from small businesses and sharing the artists’ work with friends, family, and others can help amplify their reach and foster a community that values and uplifts creativity.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The biggest reward for me has been witnessing my evolution as an artist. Seeing how much I’ve improved, from the early stages of my art journey with my paintings to the work I create today, has been an absolute pleasure and a deeply fulfilling experience.
