We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Briana Pass a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Briana, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. One of our favorite things to hear about is stories around the nicest thing someone has done for someone else – what’s the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?

The Kindest thing someone has ever done for me would go to my Grandmother Louise Scott. She is a very loving and giving woman. Her act of kindness blesses anyone who has ever had the pleasure to get to know her. At the age of 21 I decided to move from Dallas,Texas and go to New York,New York Harlem area to pursue a relationship with my now fiancé. After a year me and my fiancé decided to move back to Dallas,Texas so that we can start all over. It was hard in the beginning but thanks to my grandmother she allowed us to live with her and we were able to get up on our feet and we’ve gotten our own place. Her act of kindness came right on time. She was patient, helpful and caring. I’ll never forget her generosity. I am so grateful to have such a loving elder in my life. I pray that God blesses her with his sweetest blessings.

Briana, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I’m a writer from Dallas,TX who likes to express herself through pen and paper. I fantasize alot on how I wish my life would be sometimes, but you know what they say if you ever want to hear the “Lord Laugh” just tell him what you’re going to do and he’ll show you what’s on his agenda for YOU! So instead I just write about it. Come join me and live in my Fantasy world! I’m your number one people’s person! I love to chat with all kinds of people. It isn’t hard for me to get along with others. I’m very outgoing, fun and energetic. My Hobby is writing. I’ve always loved to write as a young girl and now I’m ready to share it with THE WORLD! Anyone who takes the time out to read my short stories & books I want you to understand that this is real deal writing. I type for an audience to where they can understand my point of view. I’m not trying to educate you, I want to entertain you and maybe just MAYBE you might learn something! Remember keep God first, be humble & be kind!

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

The best way that I was able to build an audience on social media is simply being consistent, always being myself, being open and unapologetic. People who tend to not care as much of what others might think of them can attract viewers. I’ve learned that being authentic and relatable helps people be comfortable with whatever you have going on in your life. Sharing positivity and helpful advice to your audience keeps you relevant. So, whenever you’re trying to ask for support you may get it more than usual because you have created a following.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being creative?

The most rewarding thing of being an author/writer is getting great feedback on your creativity, storylines and talented writing skills. I love when some of my followers complement me in the most respectful ways. I’m always surprised when I get feedback on top of that it’s always nice feedback. Honestly one of the best feelings in the world!
