Briana , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Do you manage your own social media?
I do manage my own social media accounts! I have learned that social media and marketing is everything! It is the key to running a successful and profitable business. I realized once I was able to be attractive and be engaging to my target audience my sales and clientele grew drastically! I learned what a lot of people like to see is consistency! So I try to stay consistent on posting content and things that are new with EBM! For anyone in the event industry or planning to be apart of it, some insight is to set your marketing apart from the overall majority! Do something different with your content that makes it more engaging or allows for people to set your event planning apart from the next.

I am Brie! I am a luxury event planner based in Atlanta! I started Events by BrieMonayy with a dream and a deep passion for design and decor. My company specializes in all event genres! Weddings, Corporate, Baby Showers, Social events and more! I like to provide my clients not with just an event but an experience! I love what I do! And I am so grateful and Thankful to God that he has positioned me to be able to add joy and memorable moments to the lives of those I have come in contact with! I am thankful to all of my clients, my team and my amazing vendors that has been apart of the growth of Events by BrieMonayy!
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Building your audience on social media or even your social media presence is not easy at all! I can say it took me a good two years to really grow my following. It came with consistency in post and learning the algorithm. I’ve learned that ads, whether it be on Facebook, Instagram or google are all vital tools to social media branding and marketing! How can you grow your business if no one knows what your business is or what you offer? That’s why social media is key to your business growth!
Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
Firstly, I am so grateful for my team! This message is for everyone! YOU CAN NOT DO IT ALONE! In order to grow your businesses or scale your business to its fullest potential, you need a reliable team to help you grow! It is so easy to get burned out or mentally exhausted being an entrepreneur. Having a team to help with the work load is extremely vital to exponential growth! I realized I was able to take on double the clientele when I established a team!
When managing a team I first focus on creating an environment that is family oriented, I want my team to enjoy coming to work and enjoy doing what they do! I am firm but also very understanding! I believe in work life balance. It is important that you give your team the respect you want in return.
