We caught up with the brilliant and insightful BRIAN RENDON a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, BRIAN thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
In 2016, I developed an interest in photography, but never really understood it. Every time I took a photo, I wanted to tell a story. That is my mission. Capturing a true moment in time, that speaks a thousand words.

BRIAN, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
In 2016, I developed an interest in photography, but never really understood it. Most of my knowledge is self-taught. Having spent some time learning, I’ve decided to invest in a real camera. In 2021, I officially became a photographer. Soon after I started taking photos for clubs/venues. Within the past year, I’ve taken photos of famous international EDM artists/local artists. It has definitely been a blast. But one of my proudest & most difficut project I’ve ever done was taking photos for Sunset Music Festival. It was my first ever photo project at a festival. I was excited, yet nervous & scared. I did not know what to expect. I’ve learned so much from that project; it made me grow and strive to be better in my photography work.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I beileve what really helped me build by name/brand , are all of my loving friends and family. I would like to personally thank them for giving me the opportunity to take photos of them, and help share my image and style to the world. If it wasn’t for them I would be taking photos of birds. Also, huge thank you to the Club Elan and 51 Degrees for giving me the chance to take my photography to new heights.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding part of my photgraphy career, is capturing that right moment. I know it sounds cliche. But in the world of club photography seeing someone dance tlike there’s no tomorrow, or seeing the DJ pour his or her heart’s content into a set, is definitely rewarding. You can not put a price on pure happiness.
