Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brian Orr. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Brian, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
I use to attend gospel concerts and had the desire to start doing them myself and through a friend I became friends with a country singer then doors opened for me to start promoting country music in 2018. It was at that time I started promoting under the name of East Tennessee Concerts doing Gospel,Bluegrass and country with some of the biggest names in the business
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Brian Orr I am 53 years old with 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters
I am a General Contractor of 24 year, a farmer and a music Promoter. I started working with my dad when I was 16 framing house and became a licensed contractor in 2000. Before becoming a music Promoter I would attend many gospel concerts and decided to do shows myself and through a friend in Nashville introduced me to country singer Marty Raybon of Shenandoah and that led me to promoting country with some of the biggest Artists in country music, In return resulting in the creation of East Tennessee Concerts. My goal in promoting is to give the fans the best experience possible by providing shows that for the entire family.
The accomplishments I’m most proud of is being a member of Academy of Country Music Association, Gospel Music Association, International Bluegrass Music Association, Country Music Association and International Entertainment Buyers Association
I have also been featured in Cross Country USA and Cashbox magazines respectfully.

Is being inducted into the prestigious, Marquis, who’s who biography in 2023 and being included in the 77th edition of Whos Who in America that comes out in December 2024
Dual CO-CEO of the North America Country Music Association International
And North America Country Music Association Hall Of Fame
In my downtown I enjoy hunting and fishing and giving back to the community helping the homeless, orphanage and community kitchen.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding is to provide a place for people to come here their favorite artist and for them to forget about all their problems and life’s troubles.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
To provide wholesome family entertainment
