We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Brian Goldstein. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Brian below.
Brian, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
I was a special Education Student from the 6th Grade through my first year of college, I remember in my Special Education English Class Teacher in the 9th Grade Mrs Falk telling a class of special education students that she was training us to be the best employees possible and I stood up and told the teach why the hell would you ever tell us we could never be our own bosses.
I have taken that message from then and always wanted to help underdog companys/ people grow their business exponentially.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I was able to building my coaching after building several business of own to over 50 million a year in gross sales, also I take that drive my Special Education and I turned into a unstoppable machine in life and business. Due to my upbringing I am able to look at things from a diffrent view and diversity that allows me to really maximize things.
When I am coaching a high 6 figure or 7 figure business owner to increase there sales, a majority of the growth barriers come from these people having mental blocks on how to get to the next level weather its a bad mindset or just having the wrong circle of people around you.
I am super proud that I came from being a special education student and a home filled with Drug Alcohol and Physical abuse, to being a rockstar CEO and being able to help people grow their businesses.
I only coach 8 students at a time and I currently have a several month wait list for one on one coaching, i make my students do a deep dive and provide reports and we chat twice a week on zoom and have one onsite vist as well.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A huge lesson I had to learn was allowing myself to ask for help from people and understanding it’s ok to fail and it was just a learning lesson. Due to my chilhood I was forced to learn never show emotion or weakness and if I had to ask for help that was also a sign of weakness which has taken me years to overcome.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I believe in doing favors for people and expecting nothing in return for my efforts, people always do a favors and expect something in return which ends up making people feel resentful when the other side doesn’t return the favor.
My takeaway is doing favors with expecting nothing in return makes you know as guy that never asks for anything and in return people always want to help me or connect me with the right thing to help me grow.
