We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Brian Barefoot . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Brian below.
Brian , appreciate you joining us today. Are you happier as a creative? Do you sometimes think about what it would be like to just have a regular job? Can you talk to us about how you think through these emotions?
I am PROUD to be an artist. I feel to interpret my own relative world is a humbling and invigorating experience. I also feel lucky to have the ambition and will to put forth the effort of catalyzing my existence through strange doodles +)

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to draw on everything. To give things new life. But I never thought I would do it professionally. Not until my early 20s and a platform I reached out to actually gave me a chance, so I jumped in. From that first show, I felt at home interacting with beautiful souls in search of beauty themselves. I’m proud that I still paint because I FEEL it. But I’ve also found a personal purpose that I want to HEAL.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Just living. Being a sponge and learning, growing, and regenerating light for what seems like a world engulfed in shadow.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Seeing inspiration in the eyes of people. Watching the cogs spin when they look and interpret my art into their own soul fuel. But also the challenge to myself. The meditation and stimulation. The feeling of focus and purpose. The happiness of the colorstorm community I feel I can contribute to. It’s culture and contribution to life. That’s what’s rewarding +)
