We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Breyana Wright. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Breyana below.
Breyana, appreciate you joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
At Styled by Breyana our mission is to inspire and impact the business world by creating looks that make the wearer feel confident, fashion forward, and unapologetic with their style. As I worked with different clients throughout the years, I noticed that a lot of them felt as if they had to dress a certain way to do business or fit into their workplace. Although they were partially correct in their approach, they were missing two very important components which was being fashion forward and unapologetic with their style. Combining these two components helps breed confidence and produces better work performance which can lead to salary increases, more leads, and promotions. We help our clients achieve this (and more) by providing them with business casual clothing that gives them a professional touch and shows off their personality. We also provide them with premium styling services that teach them how to build a look that’s suitable for their career, aligns with their personal tastes, and integrates with their current budget.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi there! My name is Breyana Wright and I’m a certified wardrobe stylist and style coach for entrepreneurs and career professionals. I teach these individuals how to dress in a way that appeals to their target audience and reflects their own personal style. I believe what sets me apart from the typical wardrobe stylist is the fact that I take the time to actually teach my clients how to dress, as opposed to just dressing them. From firsthand experience, I understand that knowing how to dress can open so many doors for a persons career, can help increase their salary, strengthen their influence, and can be used as a marketing strategy to attract and retain clients. Having said that, I’m proud to say that I’ve been able to help many entrepreneurs and career professionals do all of the above while increasing their confidence and building a look and wardrobe that they love!
Have you ever had to pivot?
Absolutely! The biggest pivot that I’ve made in my career so far was transitioning from in person styling to virtual styling. Most stylists in my profession made the transition due to the pandemic, but I had made up my mind before the pandemic that I was no longer passionate about in person styling. For me, there’s a lot of work and travel that goes into in person styling and at the time I desired to work from home. So as I was working to reconstruct my business model, I started scaling back on in person projects. After getting the tools that I needed to work virtually and building out a solid business model, I switched to virtual styling only and I’ve been doing it ever since! Every now and then I’ll collaborate with other creatives on in person projects (I believe that its a great way to get out of the house and socialize), however the bulk of my time is spent virtually with clients all over the US.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
My best source for new clients has been social media. I mainly use Instagram and Facebook to market my business so the bulk of my clients come from these platforms.
