Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brett Juliano. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Brett, thanks for joining us today. Can you tell us about a time that your work has been misunderstood? Why do you think it happened and did any interesting insights emerge from the experience?

As a creative, myself and having been surrounded intentionally by creatives; I’ve seen others be misunderstood and have personally endured the same. As we evolve toward our purpose as creative, I’ve found that it is actually quite easy to be deemed something we are not. My experiences have me wanting to share this to any human willing to understand it for themselves. Attempt each day to stay hydrated, smile and reduce the amount of time you spend explaining yourself to others. Just do you, everyday and repetitively. And with each repetition, Try your best to improve the results embracing not engraving failures. You got this.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Brett Juliano, Sicilian American, born and raised in Boston. As of 2023, I am creating content, collecting raw materials on film and video to promote content. Our culture (which has now been verified on Instagram) as The Recluse Mongoose. I would like to invite you to follow me to learn more about myself and what us created artistically. As a Talent Agent, I am a self employed entrepreneur and am currently working with the artist Moo$h Money for a 2023 fall tour of performances.
I am also known around Boston’s music scene, with current focus on increasing promotions. I would consider myself as a passionate individual who has never given up on the dream of musical promotion. I also pride myself as being reachable, providing immediate feedback and very transparent through networking and creation of projects.
As an Executive Producer, with numerous collaborations of different types of disciplines, I would invite you to follow my story @thereclusemongoose on Instagram to enjoy my collaborations.
Fashion: In April 2023 I got back into fashion. I was away from this area for years and now feel like I’m back to a great time stand point to create and look forward to our new partnership. It is not just a brand it is a lifestyle. Gangsta Gone Legit is my truth and I’m proud to be representing our #GGL team!

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

Purpose more so than a goal or mission. I believe that each day of this journey are the goals and missions that create purpose. My purpose truly is to share love. Our time as humans together here is very limited and passes quickly. When we pass each other, attempt to verbally make a statement, refrain from asking a question like, “What’s up?” Just because you think you had to after the eye contact. Try and maintain that eye contact when it arises and make a statement such as, “Enjoy your run”. It works better to create a peaceful you. Trust.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

There is a great book titled, Resilience. I read that book in county jail serving time that if I had read the book years before; I would never have had to serve that years time. Period. Be interested in improving yourself, learn about and practice your own resilience as much as you can.
