Alright, Brett thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you tell us about a time where you or your team really helped a customer get an amazing result?
In our business we work closely with families to help prepare themselves for their future with the aid of financial guidance. We recently had a young married couple sit down with us and explain their dreams to us. This is a moment where if anything is possible, where do you see yourself in a perfect future. For them, they wanted a house, paid off in 20 years, a boat, and enough liquidity to travel in the future. After we took their dreams into account, we built them a recommendation that aligned with their goals. We showed them exactly the steps it would take to get to those dreams. From there, we presented this financial vehicle to the family and the wife actually started crying! She exclaimed that she never knew it would be possible to achieve the amount of financial freedom her dreams called for and thanked us so much to show her the steps! We loved doing life with families and this is what we work for everyday!
Brett, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Brett Allen. I am a serial entrepreneur that has started 5 companies. I am currently building my financial brokerage that helps families get ahead of their finances and allows entrepreneurs to step into the financial industry. We like to say “we do life with families” because we are there through the whole process of financial freedom. We have over 190 different financial products that specifically fit each families needs, and we guide them through the whole process. The best part is seeing our families being able to dream again and helping young entrepreneurs start a business where they are helping others! I am most proud that I feel like an asset to everyone I meet!
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
As a young entrepreneur I started my first company in college with my best friend. It was a video game design company. Quickly into the creation company, I made a decision to bring on another member that ultimately crumbled our infrastructure and the company was dissolved. I could have given up because I made a mistake and my company had failed. But no, I reformed it into a Digital Marketing Agency has quickly became profitable in 3 months. That was my first successful business and it wouldn’t have worked if I just gave up after my first experience of hardship.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
Since we do life with families, we establish a quarterly check in call to discuss how their plan is unfolding. With our debt clients, we are more inline with a monthly meet up to see if the plan is going accordingly. We are always available to our clients and they have our personal numbers and are asked to call anytime.
