We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Breon LaFleur. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Breon below.
Breon, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
I always had an idea of what I wanted to do for my business based on my personality and character traits. I am a proactive and trustworthy individual. I like completing tasks and helping out with projects. I like to make things convenient for myself and others. I am very organized and I have always managed my time well. I wanted to know if others agreed with me so I ask all of my family and close friends what do they feel I am good at. They all had answers based on their own experiences with me and the common thread was based on my character traits previously mentioned. I did my research to find where I could use my skills and found Virtual Assistance. I knew this would be a good business endeavor simply because I know everyone can use some help somehow. I was very excited when I decided to move forward with becoming a VA because it would be mine. B.Joi is my business to operate how I want while doing what I am good at and love to do.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

I am a Virtual assistant because I enjoy being able to help people achieve their goals and keep afloat. I believe everyone can use a trustworthy helping hand. My goal is to make things more convenient for business owners so they can focus on money making task while I focus on the other stuff that is necessary but maybe time consuming and tedious. Most importantly, I like to give the business owner the chance to focus on doing what they love most about their business.
I am most proud of the feedback I get from my clients. They are satisfied and have a feeling of relief with me on their team. I consider my clients and I to be partners, because when I come onboard we now share a common goal.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
The relationships I already had is what helped build my reputation. I grew up in a small city, where everybody knows everybody. I had worked with a lot of different people with businesses already and the most important take away was that I can be trusted. I think everyone wants help they just need someone they can trust.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
To build my clientele I would just reach out to as many people as I can and then maybe 1 or 2 out of the 10 will at least respond. You reach out to even more people the next time, then you may get 1 or 2 to actually want to move forward with you. It is a numbers game.
