Brendon, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?

I have had a plan of creating a family business that not only my children but my nieces and nephews can benefit from for years. I believe in generational wealth so that all the hard times we may face now is to make this business grow and flourish for them. This is just the beginning of something that can and will be great for our family and our futures!

Brendon, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I started my business a few years ago with the mindset of just trying something new but also an avenue to be able to provide for my family. I received the recipe from my Dad and I just new seeing how much close friends and family members enjoyed our chicken salad recipe that others would come to love it as well! In beginning it was just the chicken salad I offered and then I soon branched out to more bar b que and southern catering options such briskets, pull pork, whole pigs. At this point you can name and I have done it even down to some seafood options and it has all been loved! I now set up local pop ups all over Texas as well as car dealerships luncheons, graduation parties, and adult functions!

How do you keep your team’s morale high?

The advice I can give another individual and that’s looking for that push to do something you’ve always wanted to do this is your sign! It was a simple dream that I didn’t think would go this far and now it has become into something so much further than I envisioned for not only myself but my family!

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

During the beginning of Covid we had to stop selling for not only my family safety but as well as my customers. Being that we could not provide service without showing proof of being essential we made the time to think about safety. We took the time to also come up with new ideas and find out any new locations people would like for us to come sell to!
