Early in 2014, I began experiencing unusual recurring heath challenges. Despite medical treatments, my health continued to deteriorate. In 2016, in one of the darkest seasons of my life, I was diagnosed with Lymphoma. It was in those dark days of healing and rediscovering my inner strength that emerged a clear vision of my next assignment which ultimately gave birth to Forward Push Empowerment LLC. Refusing to succumb to illness, I leaned into my faith and necessary treatments to realize that FPE wasn’t just a coaching business, but a God-ordained ministry. My journey underscores resilience, determination and a deep seated passion to uplift others facing similar struggles. Through Forward Push empowerment LLC I’m not just helping individuals get unstuck and find momentum, I’m assisting them in illuminating their path forward in their darkest moments. I am first and foremost, a confident woman of faith with 46 1/2 years of marriage under my belt. I am a privileged mother of four children and a GiGi to two beautiful granddaughters. As the founder and CEO of Forward Push Empowerment LLC, I am an international motivational speaker, a Certified Life Coach, specializing in empowering individuals while serving as the Executive Director of kids Christmas Toy Inc. I am also the proud creator of “ Drawing my Own Circle “, a life skills curriculum and course for the youth. In addition to the many hats that I currently wear, I respectfully and honorably hold the position as Associate Pastor of International Leadership Development, and Special Events Director at International Family Worship Center, in New London, Connecticut. My distinctiveness lies in my unwavering faith, steadfast consistency, and fervent desire to see others thrive authentically. My mission revolves around guiding women towards their destiny as I help them to stay in alignment with their divine purpose. My work involves breaking through barriers, gaining traction and staying focused on the goal. Our motto is: “There is absolutely nothing like a Forward Push!” We stand on our company’s core values which are Fun•Connection•Creativity•Accountability. My work includes workshops, conferences, 1 on 1 business coaching and customized team and group coaching. We also have an online store where we sell Forward Push Empowerment Merch. _____________________________________ One powerful moment that really speaks to my resilience occurred during a time where my body was ravaged with pain. Despite my personal turmoil, I pressed forward with unwavering determination and hosted my very first group Vision Board event. It was truly a testimony to my tenacious spirit and unyielding belief in the power of what God can do through Forward Push Empowerment. My clients, unaware of my struggles, left the event inspired and empowered, each finding their own momentum to pursue their dreams. The countless testimonies of the impact experienced when a woman attends an FPE event, serves as confirmation that I am exactly where I am supposed to be and doing exactly what I’m supposed to be doing. Pivot, yes! I am in a constant state of reinvention. In 2016, while still healing, I faced a crossroad where I had to choose between returning to the Salon, or embarking on a journey into the unknown driven by an inner knowing that there was more waiting for me. As I spent time contemplating which road to take, a single conversation with my eldest son served as the catalyst for my pivot and reinvention. His heartfelt encouragement to “let go” resonated deeply with me, providing the clarity and confidence that I needed to take the BIG Leap. And leap I did! Within a month of that internal conversation, I made the bold decision to sell my business and pack up my personal belongings, marking a significant full circle moment. As God would have it, I closed the doors of my salon exactly a decade after I first opened them. This pivotal moment, not only symbolized the end of an error, but also ignited a new chapter of growth, and opportunity. It’s a testament to the power of embracing change and trusting the process and the journey ahead. I am incredibly proud and humbled by the trust that has been placed on me by God and the faith that’s been placed in me by those who choose to partner with me in helping them to Forward Push.
