Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brenda Sanders. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Brenda, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
After almost a decade of toiling in the corporate world, I found myself standing at the crossroads of life, an early retirement and a gnawing sense of emptiness in my heart. The once-promising career had lost its luster, and I longed for something more meaningful.
One morning, I sat in my office with nothing to do sipping coffee and staring out of the window where the sun filtered through the blinds creating a tranquil ambiance. As I gazed out into the world around me, I began to cry and pray to the God, asking for guidance on what I need to do next. I needed to discover my true purpose in life, something that would fill the void in my soul.
One day, I was visited by deceased brother in a dream, and could not understand why. I felt lost and as I wept and began scrolling the Internet trying to figure out the meaning behind this dream. I began to feel a sense of peace once I began reading about Salvation and Jesus. Which led me down a rabbit hole of wanting to learn more ultimately leading me to my current schools website. It was a divine spark of inspiration. Could this be the path I had been searching for? I reached out to my bestfriend, and poured out my heart. She encouraged me to follow my heart and wrote my endorsed my letter to enroll in ministry school.
The experience was transformative. Learning about spirituality, compassion, and the power of helping others ignited a fire within me. I felt a calling to share these teachings with the world, to be a beacon of hope, love, and faith.
During the beginning of my studies, I learned about Spiritual Gifts and Immediately things immediately clicked for me. I learned that I walk in the gifts of Helps and Administration and I’m actually passionate about helping others.
With faith as my compass, I embarked on a new journey – A faith-based business of my own! A business that aligns with my kingdom-driven values, helps other Kingdom-Driven Small Business Owners and Ministry Leaders.
Looking back on my journey, I can’t help but smile at the twists and turns that had led me to this point. Retiring early from the corporate world had been a huge leap of faith, and reaching out to God had been my compass. Ministry school had ignited my calling, and my business had given me the platform to share my newfound purpose with the world.
In the end, it was a divine connection that had led me to a life that is truly fulfilling, where I could serve both God and my fellow humans. I realized that our paths may be uncertain, but with faith, persistence, and an open heart, we can find our purpose and make a positive impact on the world.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am a passionate and dedicated individual who started AGF Ministry Virtual Assistance with a clear mission in mind. My goal is to support Kingdom-Driven entrepreneurs and Ministry Leaders by taking on their burdensome administrative tasks. I believe that these individuals should focus on what they are called to do, rather than getting bogged down in paperwork and details. I’m committed to lightening their load and helping them make a significant Kingdom-Impact. I love what I do, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to glorify God through my work.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source for finding clients has undoubtedly been the divine guidance from God and the connections I’ve made in the course of my journey. It’s incredible how, when I’ve put my faith in God, doors have opened, and opportunities have presented themselves. Equally important are the connections I’ve forged along the way, as they’ve not only provided valuable leads but also offered support, mentorship, and referrals. With trust in God and a network of like-minded individuals, I’ve found the most fruitful path to attracting clients and building a thriving business.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
To maintain strong client relationships and foster brand loyalty, I prioritize regular meetings with my clients. These interactions provide an opportunity to understand their evolving needs and demonstrate my commitment to their success. I also emphasize the power of prayer, as it not only strengthens our spiritual bond but offers a unique platform to seek guidance and blessings for our endeavors. Additionally, excellent communication plays a pivotal role; I ensure that I am always available, responsive, and transparent. This not only builds trust but also reassures clients of my dedication to their satisfaction and the success of our shared goals.
