Brenda, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
To be successful, how I define that in my eyes is to be rich in health, mind, body and spirit, to have family and friends who are there every step of the way through life as you create your success everyday, no matter if times are smooth or rough. Everyone has there definition of success, what we create each day, what we do to better ourselves, our family, our business, our lives.
Brenda, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
The “Wicked Pony Ranch” bronze statue shows that when the rider has fallen, he still hasn’t let go and will regain control, so no matter what life brings, you have each day, each ride to learn from something and create success from good and bad times. The Wicked Pony Ranch is a unique hidden gem, it’s a place that creates a piece of home in your heart. For those creating new beginnings, the ranch provides them a day to get refreshed and back to the basics with family and friends and creates an experience that will be everlasting.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Customers are your best learning tool, when you meet each unique couple, they tell you a story and you learn so much from them on what makes them happy. To have the mind of a customer and what you’d expect as a customer for the services provided and to have all the elements to appeal to each unique couple.
Any advice for managing a team?
Your staff is who represents your company, when each one can be a jack of all trades and solve any problem and be a team player, they will feel successful on their own. When they have a good mentor to look up to, to show them the correct way, resourceful way and timely way, the team is a successful unit.
