Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to BreeAnna Johnson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
BreeAnna, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?
Going from Idea to Execution for me was a very long and complicated process, but in the end I’m very happy I went listened to my heart and went for it!
I started my Business Stickyy Figures when I got diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 2020 and could no longer work a “normal” 9-5 job, luckily at the time I was in a position to be able to afford to live normally financially while starting up my business from the ground up because I had a decent savings account and help from family if I needed, so I went ahead and did it!
First I thought about what I really enjoy and what I struggle the most finding and purchasing for myself and others around me. – I’ve always really enjoyed crafting and making others as well as myself feel gorgeous and appreciated. As well as I very much struggled to find jewelry that is actually hypoallergenic and didn’t make me have an allergic reaction when wearing it, so I took those thoughts into consideration and started researching how to start a Jewelry Business from Home, so many times I changed my jewelry designs, my packaging, my website, my logo, etc before deciding what I truly wanted my business to look like, it took some trail and error, then after some life changing events I decided my business will be rebranded to Breezy(s) Wear instead and with that rebrand I’ve officially figured out what my product, packaging, website, logo, business cards, etc are to look like.
I’ve now been in Business for 3 years, these 3 years have been very complicated but have taught me a lot, the most important rule I learned- your friends and family will NOT support your business like you’d think, so don’t expect it, find your own clientele. As well as just because you aren’t making enough sales to support yourself with just your business doesn’t mean you should give up, because someday you’ll be supporting yourself and others from your business profits, as long as your a dreamer and have the work motivation to back up your dreams. For the first year I was supporting myself completely with my sales, but that was because I had very many opportunities to set up my jewelry at a booth for people to see In person. Now to be able to support myself I’m working overnight shift at a Therapeutic Boarding School on top of making & selling Jewelry, as well as I’ve wrote 2 Poetry Books that I’ve Published to Amazon. Now that I no longer have the same opportunities I did because of some changes in my daily life I am going to every store in my town asking to sell my Jewelry on Consignment instead of setting up for fairs, bazaars, etc as well as trying to grow my business on Social Media. Life is Tough but your Tougher so don’t give up is what I’ve kept running through my mind since the beginning of this venture.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is BreeAnna Johnson, I am a 21 year old Business Owner and Poetry Book Author who lives in a small town in Northwest Montana.
My Business is a One of a Kind, Handcrafted Crystal Jewelry Business. I create true hypoallergenic pieces from Sterling Silver & 18k Gold Coated Findings. All of my Crystals are Ethically Sourced or Locally Hunted by Me.
I have Self Published 2 Poetry Books on Amazon.com, Scattered Thoughts & Unlocked Thoughts, they are Collections of Poetry filled with raw emotion, heartbreak, mental illness, love, trauma and healing.
Some things I’d like my Clients/Customers to know Is all my Jewelry is One of a Kind and will not be remade by me. It is made from Crystals & Precious Metals. None of the jewelry is worn before coming to you, all jewelry will be worn for the first time by you, I like to keep my business clean and would never sell dirty products. All Jewelry is made with Good Intentions and Healing on mind.
Someday Breezy Wear will be seen as a Brand that’s known and recognized for On-Trend, Stylish Healing Jewelry. I’m unsure of when that day will be but I’m Manifesting it.
This is a Owner-Operated business so all Products are Crafted, Packaged, Shipped, Priced, and Photographed by me as well as all things Social Media, Website and Advertising.
Does your business have multiple or supplementary revenue streams (like a ATM machine at a barbershop, etc)?
Yes, my Business has Products in a few different stores as well as my website www.breezyswear.com

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
For me the best source of new Clients is word of mouth.
When a customer buys a product and someone asks where they got it and they say Breezy Wear.
Anytime I see someone wearing jewelry in public I compliment them and give them my business card.
When I set up booths at a Bazaar or Fair people see my business name and product walking by and from the street view.
